For nearly 90 years, WaveLength has been working to make sure no one feels invisible. Our mission is to help everyone find a sense of belonging and access the support they need to manage loneliness at every stage of life.
We work with communities, research partners and policymakers from around the world to improve our understanding of loneliness and create a society that is more inclusive, accessible and responsive to people’s needs.
WaveLength provides direct support to people most affected by chronic loneliness, through the gift of radios, televisions, tablets and other devices. Our support offers a vital source of comfort and access to services and opportunities for those facing the greatest barriers to inclusion. Our research with the University of York shows our approach reduces feelings of loneliness for those we support.
