Whether you’re a complete beginner or someone looking to expand your skills, WAForge offers a supportive and engaging environment where creativity, learning, and collaboration come first.

This hackathon is all about hands-on experience, giving participants the opportunity to explore various technology fields, including coding, app and web development, design, and problem-solving. Through interactive workshops, mentorship from industry professionals, and team-based challenges, you'll gain valuable insights, develop new skills, and turn your ideas into reality.

No prior experience? No worries! WAForge is a welcoming space for everyone, from students and hobbyists to aspiring tech professionals. Whether you come with a team or join one on the spot, you’ll have the chance to learn, innovate, and build something incredible.

Requirements

All hackers must to submit 2 things;

1) Link to all project code (preferably hosted on Github)

  • Submit your full project code to Devpost with a structured repository.
  • Strongly recommended to host code on GitHub.
  • Hosted version for web-based apps is preferred for easier judge testing.

2) 10 minute pitch

  • 5 minute presentation - explain your inspiration, features, future plans, etc.
  • 3 minute demo of your project
  • 2 minutes for questions from the judges
