History

Our history in short

Our journey began with the creation of the Cardboard Owl VR viewer, a simple yet innovative way to make virtual reality accessible to a wide audience. We created accessible solutions, ranging for virtual tours for the EYE film museum to VR experiences to explain how Wifi works.

Over the years, VR Owl has evolved into a leading full-service VR/AR agency in the Netherlands, boasting a team of 35 specialists. Our services have expanded to include virtual reality, augmented reality, 360º video production, 3D animation, and organizing immersive events. We’ve successfully completed hundreds of projects, collaborating with multinational corporations, local businesses, and startups to deliver customized solutions that enhance training, marketing, sales, and onboarding processes.

 

At VR Owl, we aim to bridge workforce shortages with innovative VR solutions. With over a decade of experience, we’ve developed a modular approach to creating immersive experiences tailored to diverse needs.
