A/N: In the Warp/Weft arc, I had Koschei regenerate. I've changed that in the timeline due to developments that happen later in the Outsiders arc (the story that comes after Weekend at Berni's). I haven't rewritten Warp/Weft yet as I'm waiting for that 2nd Outsiders story to be posted. But the upshot is that Koschei finds another way of dealing with the events at the start of Warp/Weft and doesn't wind up shedding his loomling body then. Sorry for any confusion this causes.

The huge project that witchway and I have been working on is ready to start posting. After a long break in which I didn't update Love Letters much at all, now we'll be posting twice a week, Tuesdays and Fridays. This starts a huge adventure for Theta and Koschei in which their view of the world and their relationship will undergo changes. “What are these?” Koschei asked.

“Raspberries.” Theta picked one up, bit it slowly and let the sticky red juice drip down his lips. He snaked his tongue out, wrapped it around the remnant of berry and slurped it into his mouth.

Koschei stared, his mouth slack, his eyes transfixed on his lover’s mouth.

“They’re not as sweet as strawberries…” Another small red fruit slipped into Theta’s mouth. “But they’re delicious.” He picked up another, brought it up and held the berry against against his bottom lip. He lowered his eyes and looked up at Koschei through long ginger eyelashes. “Want one?” He asked, and held the raspberry between his lips.

Koschei couldn’t speak. He swallowed and managed a nod.

Theta took the red berry from his berry red lips and held it so he could speak. “Well come get it then,” he said, and put the raspberry in his mouth.

As he crossed the room, Koschei happily noted that the bowl beside Theta was large and filled with fruit. This could take awhile…
