Pre-Programmed Light Therapy Settings
Visum Light devices include built-in pre-programmed patterns designed to simplify light therapy sessions while delivering consistent, repeatable results. These patterns control pulse rates and frequency combinations so users can focus on placement and application rather than manual adjustments.
Both the Visum Light Hand-Held and the Visum Light Flex Pad systems include seven pre-programmed patterns labeled P1 through P7. While the numbering is the same, the actual programs are different for each device and are calibrated specifically for how each system is intended to be used.
What Are Pre-Programmed Patterns?
Pre-programmed patterns are internally set frequency and pulsing combinations selected by Visum Light to support specific therapeutic intentions. Some patterns use a single pulse rate, while others cycle through multiple frequency sets.
Not all patterns are Nogier frequencies. Certain programs use standard pulse rates, while others cycle through frequency groupings commonly associated with specific applications.

While both the Visum Hand-Held and Visum Flex Pad systems include seven pre-programmed patterns labeled P1 through P7, the actual frequency combinations are different for each device. This distinction is intentional and reflects how each device is designed to be used.
Visum Light Hand-Held Pre-Programmed Patterns (P1–P7)
The Visum Light Hand-Held is designed for focused, direct applications and precision work. Its pre-programmed patterns are optimized for short-duration sessions and localized placement.
Visum Light Flex Pad Pre-Programmed Patterns (P1–P7)
The Visum Light Flex Pad system is designed for broader coverage, hands-free use, and longer session times. Because of this, its pre-programmed patterns are slightly different from the Hand-Held.

Why the Patterns Are Different
Although both devices use the same P1–P7 numbering, the Visum Light Hand-Held and Flex Pad are designed for different therapeutic approaches.
The Hand-Held is intended for precision placement and shorter sessions, while the Flex Pad is intended for extended use and broader coverage. The frequency patterns reflect these differences and should not be assumed to function the same across devices.
Always follow the pattern set specific to the device you are using.
Choosing the Right Pattern
Pattern selection depends on the device, the area being addressed, and the intended outcome. Many users begin with gentler or familiar patterns and adjust based on comfort and experience.
Visum Light training materials provide guidance on pattern selection, placement, and session timing for both Hand-Held and Flex Pad systems.
