Viridi

Viridi is a meditative video game where your main aim is to care and nourish the tiny seedlings that need your love in order to survive. When you begin playing, you'll choose from several different pots to put your plants in, each with its own unique design. You'll also get to choose from a handful of different sprouts to plant inside.

Caring for your potted garden in Viridi is no easy task, but it isn't especially hard, either. Usually, all you'll need to do is be careful not to water it too much, or too little. You're seedlings need just the right amount of attention, but nowhere near anything as tough as taking care of an actual plant. You'll also get to move your sprouts, name them, and of course add new plants to your pot.

Thanks to the very nature of this game in Viridi, you won't be able to do much else, other than taking care of your plants. What you will be able to do is move about within your screen, getting closer up and further away from your plant and turning from one side to another. Of course, you'll also be able to take pictures of your plant and create a cute album with the whole story of how your plant grows.

Viridi is a special game. It's not a particularly fun video game, and it doesn't really mean to be one, either. It's more a relaxing and thought provoking title, which in the worst cases shows you the fragility of nature and at best makes you actually interested in plant life. In-game music is also much appreciated and very mellow and relaxing.
