Communication Manager

Job description

We are currently looking for a Communication manager (full time) for our office at Pylaia Thessaloniki Greece.

The person recruited will be trained through practice, to join the team and undertake the communication management of the company and specific projects under European Union research and innovation Grants (e.g. Horizon Europe) in diverse scientific and technological fields.

As a Communication Manager, you will join the team and undertake tasks, including:

  • Manage communication and dissemination activities (i.e., monitor and collaborate with the project’s working teams to meet communication objectives)
  • Review, update, proofread and edit content for print and online materials (i.e., website, newsletters, brochures, press releases, presentations, etc.)
  • Coordinate and create content and for social media outreach and digital marketing
  • Work with designers and partners to develop print and online communication materials
  • Organise events locally and across Europe. Participate in international events and meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in any of the following: marketing, advertising, communication, journalism mass communications
  • Language skills (excellent command of Greek and English, both verbal and written, is necessary)
  • Experience (>2 years) in creating, editing and managing content for print and online platforms (i.e., website, social media platforms):
      • Copywriting (i.e., social media posts, blogs and small articles, campaign messages, promo materials like posters
      • Using tools like Canva, Mailchimp, CapCut, etc.
      • Experience in content management systems for websites
      • Preparing newsletters, press releases and similar content for media outlets.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Tools (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
  • Soft skills:
        • Multi-tasking abilities (e.g. work, in parallel, on different tasks and domains).
        • Ability to manage time and produce results on time, according to strict standards.
        • Ability to work in a team, capacity to work autonomously, initiative spirit.

Innovation Project Manager

We are looking for an Innovation Project Manager with experience in implementing projects under European Union research and innovation Grants (e.g. Horizon Europe) in diverse scientific and technological fields, focusing on exploitation activities and business modelling.

As an Innovation Project Manager, you will join the team of active EU projects undertaking the relevant tasks, including:

  • Leading and implementing tasks related to innovation, exploitation, business modelling and sustainability of cross-cutting technologies rising from Research and Innovation projects.
  • Developing deliverables related to the exploitation activities and business modelling of diverse projects.
  • Managing workshops and training events relevant to the undertaken tasks.
  • Monitor the projects’ progress compared to the objectives of the planned tasks: set goals, negotiate project commitments, manage deadlines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the internal multi-disciplinary team in project implementation.

Requirements:

  • Industry and/or academic experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods (e.g. surveys, market research methods), business modelling and planning, will be considered an asset.

Research Project Manager

Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Research Project Manager, to join our multidisciplinary team in Thessaloniki (remote working is also an option under certain conditions), and work in the conceptualization, proposal writing, design, implementation, and management of projects under European Union research and innovation Grants (e.g. Horizon Europe), in diverse scientific and technological fields.

The main duties of the job position cover:

  • Participation in the preparation of new proposals
  • Coordination, implementation and management of projects.

As a Research Project Manager, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:

  • Involvement in the conceptualisation and development of new project proposals under Horizon Europe.
  • Monitor the projects’ progress compared to the objectives of the planned tasks: managing deadlines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Communicate with a broad network of researchers and experts in the EU.
