The word I choose for the letter ‘R’ is Respect.
The quote I choose to go with the word Respect is- “True leaders always practice the three R’s: Respect for self, Respect for others, Responsibility for all their actions”.
Today I would like to share more quotes from others and a little less about me. However, all the quotes listed below would give away my opinions/thoughts feelings about “Respect for self and for others”.
Day 11 – NaPoWriMo – Optional prompt for the day: the Bop. The invention of poet Afaa Michael Weaver, the Bop is a kind of combination sonnet + song. Like a Shakespearan sonnet, it introduces, discusses, and then solves (or fails to solve) a problem. Like a song, it relies on refrains and repetition. In the basic Bop poem, a six-line stanza introduces the problem, and is followed by a one-line refrain. The next, eight-line stanza discusses and develops the problem, and is again followed by the one-line refrain. Then, another six-line stanza resolves or concludes the problem, and is again followed by the refrain. Here’s an example of a Bop poem written by Weaver, and here’s another by the poet Ravi Shankar.
Emotional abuse can leave one traumatized!

Her opinions, have been disregarded,
Her appearance, is always judged,

Sharing of feelings, been verbally chastised,

Day 2- NaPoWriMo Prompt (as always, optional) for the day. “Today, I’d like you to write a poem inspired by, or in the form of, a recipe! It can be a recipe for something real, like your grandmother’s lemon chiffon cake, or for something imaginary, like a love potion or a spell”.
