My 4th post on YourQuote. Repeating the line ” I will never forget” again with a new post.
No Solace!
I will never forget,
Your last message,
Those words haunt me,
Even today, eight years and no solace!

My third post on Yourquote. The line given by YQ is “Let me Sleep”, to which you gotta fill in your lines to complete.
Sleep!
Let me sleep,
Please,
My heart is pounding,
My head is aching,
Teary eyes are burning,
As your memories aren’t fading…

After a gap of three months back with a new journey on 31st July’2018 (Tuesday). I have finally started posting on YourQuotes after thinking to post or not from more than three-four months. I hope this journey continues and I get to learn more.
Silence!
Listen to my silence.
If you can understand, tell me,
What is my silence trying to communicate!

The above post is a response to a friend who wrote the below quote for me, teasing me…😜

Thank you Santosh 😊 for the inspiration to write back again & I dared to start my new journey which i have been scared and postponing to start posting on YourQuotes from quite a few months…

Day 30: And for our final (optional) prompt, I’d like you to take your cue from Borges, and write a poem that engages with a strange and fascinating fact. It could be an odd piece of history, an unusual bit of art trivia, or something just plain weird. While I cannot vouch for the actual accuracy of any of the facts presented at the links above (or any other facts you might use as inspiration!), I can tell you that there are definitely some poetic ideas here, just waiting for someone to use them.
I am using the below interesting fact out of the 25 interesting facts option given to us.
Willard Wigan, an English artist, works between heartbeats so he doesn’t destroy the piece he is creating. He uses rice or grains of sand and a surgical blade to create his “micro sculptures.”

Micro-Sculptures!
Micro-sculptures,
Tiny art of beauty.
It’s creation is mystery,
By Willard Wigan the artist.
Who is making history,
As he works between heartbeat.
His piece is never destroyed by him,
As the sculptures are in the eye of a needle.
His work admired by many people,
A rare talent he possesses.
Birds, animals, humans, things, you name it,
And he will have it sculpted.
A work of admiration,
Creating art in grains of sand and rice.
With the help of a surgical blade,
The great piece of art is created!

30th April’18 – Letter ‘Z’
The word I choose for the letter ‘Z’ is Zeal.

The quote I choose to go with the word Zeal is- “When you are laboring for others let it be with the same zeal as if it were for yourself.”
This is something that one has to question yourself and answer it honestly to yourself. When given an opportunity to work hard for sake of others, would we work hard for others with the same zeal when we do it for yourself? Let me give you a best example for a person we all have in our life who works very hard with the same zeal if at all one has to work for self. The person we all have in our life is “Mother”. What best example in comparison to the selfless act you can give?

Day 29: And now for our daily prompt (optional, as always). Today, we’d like to challenge you to write a poem based on the Plath Poetry Project’s calendar. Simply pick a poem from the calendar, and then write a poem that responds or engages with your chosen Plath poem in some way.
OMG! I thought since it is the second last day of the month the prompts are gonna get easier just like the previous two days. However, this prompt not only came as a shock but this really did scare me. I did not think I can do today’s prompt. Seriously, my heart kept saying go with the prompt but my mind went on saying “No Preethi, just give up”. But finally I am listening to my heart and giving it a try. And the poem I chose for today’s prompt is “Child” by Sylvia Plath.
| Your clear eye is the one absolutely beautiful thing. I want to fill it with color and ducks, The zoo of the new Whose names you meditate — Stalk without wrinkle, Not this troublous |
My take on the poem based on today’s prompt poem is as below. The words in bold are the words I chose from the poem “Child” by Sylvia Plath. Hope I got the prompt right and did justice.
Suspicious Heart!
Your clear eye is so beautiful and charming,
Wish I knew the dreams and wishes behind it,
The heart of the new.

Day 28: And now for our prompt (optional, as always). Following the suggestion of our craft resource, we challenge you today to draft a prose poem in the form/style of a postcard. If you need some inspiration, why not check out some images of vintage postcards? I’m particularly fond of this one.

Post Card Love Letter!
My Dear Love,
Please come back my heart is tearing apart,
Your absences and silences is killing my heart,
I can no longer sing or dance,
Neither can I listen, talk nor smile.
How do I reach you, how do I find you?
When you have disappeared without saying a word!
How do I tell you, my heart yearns for your presences and love.
How can I ask you all the questions buried in my heart?
How can I tell you what I wish and hope for!
28th April’18 – Letter ‘Y’
The word I choose for the letter ‘Y’ is Yearning.

The quote I choose to go with the word Yearning is- “You have the choice to create the life your heart is YEARNING to LIVE.”
We all yearn for something other the other in our life. Your intense feeling in your heart, longing for something or someone or for some miracle to happen in life is yearning. Most of the times we do have the choice in our life to catch on our dream which we are yearning for but I guess out of fear we do not take the step forward towards what your heart is yearning for.
