17th April’18 – Letter ‘O’

The word I choose for the letter ‘O’ is Obsession.

The quote I choose to go with the word Obsession is- “I have an obsession with quotes because other people are so much better at putting my feelings into words than I am”.

Obsession/ Obsessive about something or someone is an extremely strong feeling. Until and unless your obsession towards something or someone is under your control, which does not harm anyone is fine I guess. As I said earlier, it is an extremely strong feeling, which is difficult for one to come out off. Currently I am obsessed with quotes, poems, short or a little lengthy stories. It could be about love, relation, inspirational or friendship etc. Quotes I usually read on Pinterest, Google, YourQuote and for poems, short or a little lengthy stories I read the post of the bloggers whom I follow.

Recently I registered myself on the YourQuote app, as I wanted to start something new. I read some amazing quotes & poems over there that I ended up only reading other’s quote but still haven’t dared to post my quotes.  I personally feel they put my feelings in much better words so I have nothing left to write rather than read. Few of my favourite quotes & poems are from Amit Jotwani, Bithika Halder (Mocking Soul), Rajoshi Chakraborty, and Brijesh Singaravel (Brijesh) whom I am following on YourQuote.

Today I would like to thank one of my favorite blogger Smitha, whose posts inspired me when I was lost or stuck; her posts have been a ray of hope for me to look at things on a brighter side. Her post gave me strength and guided me to handle & face the situation. Smitha, there are times I wondered how on earth you knew what I was going through to become my strength through your posts. I feel so connected with your posts.

I got connected to Smitha & Vandana last year during NaPoWrimo & since last year l wait for Smitha’s & Vandana’s attempt on the NaPoWriMo prompt to get inspiration and only after which I try to write a poem. 🙂 Thank you Smitha & Vandana for inspiring me. 🙂

Check out Sreepriya Menon’s (Priya) quotes on “DEVIL AND ANGEL” it is amazing.
