An app that's very easy to use

VidBee is easy to use. All you have to do is copy the URL of any video, click on the Add URL button, and then click Fetch. After a few seconds, a window will appear where you can select all the download options you want. You will be able to choose whether you want to download the video or only the audio. You will also be able to select the quality of the file and even the format.

Add your own cookies to download more content

One of the most interesting features of VidBee is that it also allows you to download videos from portals that normally require a login or some type of identification. To do so, you will first have to configure your cookies from the Configuration Options menu. If you use Firefox, this process is practically automatic. And if you use any other browser, such as Opera or Chrome, you just have to select the cookies file manually.

My thoughts on VidBee

I tried downloading videos from more than a dozen different portals and social networks, and I was able to download them all with the quality I wanted. And that is exactly what I expected from this type of app. This app also has an elegant and customizable interface.

The best and the worst of VidBee

• What I like most about VidBee is that it supports hundreds and hundreds of different websites and portals. It almost never has problems when downloading.

• What I like least about VidBee is that it takes up a lot of space on the Mac's memory. Almost 1.5 GB for a video downloader seems excessive to me.

Download VidBee if you regularly need to download videos from the Internet. Thanks to this simple app, you will be able to download YouTube videos without any problems, as well as videos from many other websites, portals, social networks, etc. Storing them on your Mac is much safer than accessing them on the cloud with a link.
