Feel free to use Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, v0, Figma, or any other tools you are confident with. You are encouraged to integrate any technologies that help you build efficiently.

To help you move faster and build high-quality projects, check out these curated resources:
-
Speed Building: Read my speech from the IRL session on "How to Build Things Fast."
-
Success Story: Check out my comprehensive guide: "How I Won TEKNOFEST 2025: A Step-by-Step Guide."
-
Open-Source Templates: I have written 50+ step-by-step tutorials on building projects. Many of these have won hackathons and are available as open-source templates. You can fork these repositories to jumpstart your build.
-
Education Tracks: If you are building for students or universities, browse my collection of real application reports. You can use these to fine-tune AI models or integrate them directly into your software.

These tracks focus on market potential and technical depth. We encourage you to innovate beyond these prompts:
-
The Marathon Agent: Build autonomous systems for tasks spanning hours or days. Use Thought Signatures and Thinking Levels to maintain continuity and self-correct across multi-step tool calls without human supervision.
-
Vibe Engineering: Leverage the Google AI Studio Build tab and Google Antigravity. Build agents that don't just write code but verify it through autonomous testing loops and browser-based verification artifacts.
-
The Real-Time Teacher: Utilize the Gemini Live API to synthesize live video and audio for adaptive learning experiences.
-
Creative Autopilot: Combine Gemini 3 reasoning with Nano Banana Pro for high-precision multimodal creation. Use higher resolution and localized Paint-to-Edit controls to generate professional, brand-consistent assets with legible text.

1. Can I use AI?
Yes! You are encouraged to use AI and any other tools or technologies you are comfortable with.
2. Can I submit an old project?
No. All projects must be built during the hackathon. Existing projects will be disqualified.
3. Can I submit more than one project?
No, you may only submit one project. However, you can continue to edit your submission until the hackathon deadline.
4. Should all team members submit the project?
No. Only the Team Leader should submit the project and add the other team members as collaborators.
5. Who owns the intellectual property (IP) of the projects?
You (and your team) retain 100% ownership of the intellectual property created during the hackathon.
6. Do I need to be a developer to participate?
Not necessarily! While building a functional prototype is key, teams benefit greatly from designers, project managers, and subject matter experts. With the AI tools listed in the Resources section, even those with limited coding experience can ship impressive projects.
7. Is there a specific theme or industry focus?
While we provide Example Ideas (like Marathon Agents and Real-Time Teachers), the hackathon is open-ended. As long as you are solving a real-world problem using modern technology, you are on the right track.
8. What are the judging criteria?
Submissions will typically be judged on:
-
Innovation: How original is the idea?
-
Technical Implementation: How well does the project work?
-
Impact/Utility: Does it solve a real problem effectively?
-
Presentation: How clear is the demo and documentation?
9. Can I join a team or do I have to work alone?
You can participate as a solo "lone wolf" or in a team (typically up to 4 members). We recommend joining our Discord to find teammates if you don't have a team yet.
10. What do I need to submit at the deadline?
You must submit a link to your code repository (GitHub/GitLab), a short demo video (2–3 minutes), and a brief description of how your project works.
11. What if my project isn't 100% finished?
Submit it anyway! Hackathons are about progress and proof-of-concept. A working prototype of a great idea is better than a perfect version of a boring one.
