Someone asked a question
So what is quick answer to this?
If you don’t know what the original language of a text was written in, then you are 100% dependent on someone telling you what the source language says. Every translation is going to be wrong somewhere. I know this becawh use I used to be an interpreter for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing. It’s is not possible to fully convey every word and concept from one language to another.
Here’s my quick take:

Cornelius Van Til is a theologian, apologist and philosopher that I appreciate since he tried to be biblically driven during his life time and academic career. He is also known as the father of Presuppositional apologetics. (To learn more about him, years ago I posted A SYLLABUS ON CORNELIUS VAN TIL’S HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT AND CONTRIBUTION TO PRESUPPOSITIONAL APOLOGETICS).
I was surprised today to learn that Van Til has been to Asia before on a missions trip!

Those who use Presuppositional Apologetics often employ what is called the Transcendental Argument for God (TAG). Cornelius Van Til was instrumental in influencing people to think along such lines.
What is TAG?

Nearly fourteen years on this blog I started a series slowly writing down illustrations that I thought might be helpful for sermons or evangelism that has apologetics’ thrusts.
Here’s 80 of them arranged topically. Which one was your favorite?

I was reading Psalm 64. I thought there’s some implications for apologetics and thoughts on nonbelievers’ self-refuting statements.
Let me first share the passage:

Anthony Roger is a pastor and apologist. He’s active online with his ministry and does a lot of doctrinal apologetics and dealing with Islam.
He’s taught on “The Divine Messiah of Psalm 91.”
I too think this Psalm is Messianic. I wanted to write a teaching outline on Psalm 91 sometime but I thought he said things that I have observed and read about so I’ll share it here.
