No, the VeriFace won't work on Asus laptops because this is an application that was developed especially for the Lenovo hardware. If you try to install it on an unsupported environment, an error saying that the platform is wrong will be shown instead. You have to check the downloads for your Asus laptop. On the download page, choose other operating systems to see available apps, instead of the one that is currently running on the device.
Will there be a driver for Windows 10? If so, how will the new driver be distributed?

Only Lenovo knows when the driver will be released for Windows 10. You will have to check periodically the webpage with the drivers and downloads for your device. Windows 10 has been barely released, and it will take some time before the drivers will appear.
I purchased a new Lenovo as my old one crashed. I have some VFF files saved on a flash drive, but I can't open them using my new Lenovo with Veriface version 5. Can you please help?

It's possible that those files are not compatible with the newer version of the VeriFace application. You will have to visit Lenovo support to download the version of the VeriFace application that was created for the piece of equipment you have since this software like many other is hardware dependent.
Veriface is an application that was distributed with certain models of Lenovo products. You need to own IdeaPad Z560, IdeaPad Z465, Lenovo G465, IdeaPad Z460, Lenovo G565, IdeaPad Z360, and IdeaPad Z565 devices in order to install the application. You can proceed to download the application from its official website. The software is compatible with Windows 7 on both 32 and 64bit architecture.
One of my long files was encrypted with Veriface. A computer friend managed to unlock the Veriface encryption but now the document is locked up with a password which I didn't choose and can in no way find as I didn't install it. How can I access this password to open my file please?

Since there is no way to break the password, simply move the file to another folder and delete the VFF file it creates. Restart the computer and the folder/file will be accessible.
My laptop is an Ideapad Z460/Z465/Z560/Z565/ which was purchased in Dubai two years ago. Now I gave it for formatting. My Veriface has gone. I want the same version. How can I get the software installed?

You have the possibility to download the latest version of the Veriface program, because the older ones have been removed from development. The above models, don't have the application listed on their support page.
Restart the laptop and enter Safe Mode. Get access to your desktop using the administrator password, then go to Start > Run and type msconfig. Select the Startup tab and locate VeriFace on the list. Uncheck and restart. Next time the computer boots, VeriFace will not be loaded anymore and you will have the possibility to use your computer.
If you've installed VeriFace correctly, there should be a Lenovo file in your Program Files. Try launching VeriFace from this file and follow the setup. If it's not working, I'm afraid VeriFace isn't compatible with your system.

Hi, can Veriface be used on a Dell Laptop? Also is it better than FastAccess?
Supported systems:
Thus it shouldn't be working on Dell systems, but only in Lenovo systems.

How can I see those pictures that have been captured by my VeriFace software? I bought a laptop on the Internet and I want to see the former owners.
You can see the pictures that software is taking in the Log record.
