NEW AND IMPROVED VenTrainer was developed on the learnings and experiences accumulated with the Hamilton ventilator simulator and the HAMILTON-C6 simulation. The app is their latest evolution. For those familiar with the HAMILTON-G5 simulator or HAMILTON-T1 simulator, VenTrainer offers a sense of familiarity and an exciting new experience with the convenience of a modern application. DISCLAIMER The VenTrainer App is designed as a supplementary tool to assist the training of clinical personnel on the operation and handling of Hamilton Medical ventilators. Please note that the app may not perfectly simulate all the functions and features of the actual ventilators. Some deviations and inaccuracies may occur. IMPORTANT NOTE The VenTrainer App must not be used as the sole training resource for operating Hamilton Medical ventilators. The use of the app does not replace the necessary practical training and instruction on the actual devices. INTELLiVENT-ASV Updates - Deactivating sensors with active INTELLiVENT-ASV can now be demonstrated. - Multiple minor bug fixes related to INTELLiVENT-ASV. 3D Model Updates - Further optimization and correction of ventilator 3D models. 2024.1.1 11/05/2024 The new software for the VenTrainer App is now available and includes some exciting new features:  Additional ventilation modes were added for active and passive patients: SPONT, NIV, NIV-ST for HAMILTON-C6/C1/T1/MR1 and INTELLiVENT-ASV for HAMILTON-C6 (without Quick Wean). The new info button in the menu during simulation provides a list of shortcuts to adjust the patient condition, especially helpful for trainings.  Increase or decrease the leakage level with a shortcut during NIV simulation. The time-lapse function during simulations can be quadrupled by double-clicking on the multiplier, to increase it from 2x to 8x and from 4x to 16x speed. The app is now fully available in Portuguese, Italian, Turkish, Korean and Russian. 2024.1.0 07/29/2024 PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS The 3D models of the ventilators have been updated to improve performance PATIENT MODEL OPTIMIZATIONS AND NEW FEATURES Two new patient conditions have been introduced: "Non-recruiter" and "Obstructive". The calculation of RCexp now takes into account increased expiratory resistance, resulting in behaviour that aligns closely with realistic scenarios. QUALITY OF LIFE IMPROVEMENTS The ventilator settings limit system has undergone a comprehensive overhaul, making it more difficult to set impossible values. Changes and additions have been made to account management within the app. OTHER BUGS FIXES Resolved minor bugs in the ASV (Adaptive Support Ventilation) user interface and behaviour Resolved bugs related to the use of the measurement unit "Inches" Resolved various minor bugs affecting the user interface, functionality, and stability 2023.1.1 02/01/2024 PATIENT MODEL OPTIMIZATIONS AND NEW FEATURES We optimized the virtual patient model to improve the simulation of the following functionalities: • Spontaneous patient • PV Tool • ASV – Adaptive support ventilation Additionally, ETS (expiratory trigger sensitivity) is now fully functional. OFFLINE FUNCTIONALITY VenTrainer can now be used without an internet connection (after the first download).
