Vault!

Vault! is a platform arcade in 2D in which you control a strange character, who is armed only with a pole, and has to jump as far as he can through scenarios that are full of obstacles. Fortunately, the pole can help him overcome all these difficulties.

The gameplay is as simple as you would expect from a game by Nitrome. You just have to press the screen exactly at the moment when you want to put the pole on the ground, so you can avoid any obstacles. You have to take into account that you can dodge a hole on the ground by sticking the pole before it, or after it.

With the coins that you get throughout the game you can unlock new characters. None of these characters has special advantages over the others, but some of them are really fun. Besides, the default characters are pretty ugly.

Vault! is a fun and relatively original platform game in 2D. The pixelated retro graphics are charming, as usual in Nitrome games.
