The Virginia Sheriffs’ Association (VSA) Procurement Programs provide local government agencies across the United States with competitively awarded contracts for a wide range of vehicles, equipment, and services. Available categories include: First Responder Supplies, Equipment, and Technology; Tires; Vehicles and Motorcycles; and Heavy Equipment.
.
These programs are designed to simplify the purchasing process while ensuring agencies receive best-value pricing through competitive procurement. By utilizing the VSA Procurement Programs, public bodies can significantly reduce the time, cost, and administrative burden associated with conducting their own solicitations. While developed to support Virginia’s 123 sheriffs’ offices, the programs are available for use by all public bodies, providing a trusted cooperative purchasing solution statewide.
The VSA is committed to delivering procurement programs built on competition, transparency, and accountability. Contracts are competitively solicited to ensure suppliers are given fair opportunities to participate while public agencies benefit from high-quality products, reliable suppliers, and strong contract oversight. Throughout the purchasing process, the Association provides ongoing customer support and guidance to ensure agencies can confidently utilize the program.
Revenue generated through these procurement initiatives directly supports the Virginia Sheriffs’ Association’s mission to provide education, training, and resources for the sheriffs of the Commonwealth, strengthening law enforcement and public safety across Virginia.
