Yes, the VantagePoint program for Windows should work with a Magellan 610 US device. However, whether or not it includes Topo maps depends on the specific version of the VantagePoint program being referred to.
You should get in contact with the official developers in order to find this information. According to the release specifications, the software will work in Windows operating systems only. To make it work on a Mac device, first install Windows through Bootcamp and you can use it normally without any other 3rd party applications. You only need a Windows installation disc (XP or 7). You can access Bootcamp from your computer since it comes pre-installed.
When I try to sync my GPS Triton 1500 with the VantagePoint software, it tells me that "VantagePoint has stopped working" and "Windows is checking for a solution". I can zoom and measure distances, but I can't transfer data without this message showing up. It worked before. What can I do?

In order to fix the issue, I suggest you update the product. Navigate to the official web page, click the orange Download Now button, save the file to your computer and install the program over the current version. Also, make sure your security program and Windows Firewall allows the connection. If you still have issues, reinstall the software and configure it using the steps from the official user guide.
