Hey, my name is Alex and I'm a game programmer, project manager and 2D artist.

I started programming in 2016 in Scratch and made some games on there as a kid. I never really thought game programming is something I could do career wise, but I am in the position to do so 9 years later. It took a while to feel comfortable with it when I started again in 2023. I enjoy game programming since it's the only way programming really made sense to me. I still have a lot to learn and I'm excited to learn more.

art

I am trying to improve my art lately and have done a few pieces I am proud of. I am most comfortable with pixel art for games. I take a minimalist approach with my art and use very few colors if I can because it feels nostalgic.
