UBC UX Hub's UXathon 2024 is a no-code designathon dedicated to UX-obsessed
Throughout design day you will collaborate in teams of four to design a product that aligns with this year’s theme. With the guidance and support of our mentors, you will be challenged to create a fully working design prototype. There will then be live presentations to our panel of judges, where you will receive feedback and compete for prizes!
- This event is open to confirmed UXathon participants only
- Please aim to register the morning of Design day to avoid complications with submissions!
- Please ensure that you've read the entirety of the Designer package for important details on project submissions and guidelines
Requirements
Our theme this year is focused on Sustainable Design; creating innovative and user-friendly app designs that contribute to a more eco-conscious and sustainable world. Participants are encouraged to explore and incorporate principles of sustainable design, such as, but not limited to: minimalism, energy efficiency, waste reduction, etc. We want to see your creative solutions that align with the ethos of sustainable living while enhancing user experiences!
Submissions MUST include:
- Link to Figma prototype of product
- PDF of your presentation slides (pitch-deck)
Additional details that DevPost ask you to fill in (ie. Inspiration, What it does, etc...) will help to add context; but you are not required to make it super detailed! Your presentation slides should be sufficient :)
