Consulting Archivist Program

Our archivists are here to help cultural heritage institutions and local governments keep their archival holdings safe and accessible to citizens and researchers. Do you have questions about best practices for organizing, preserving, and making your collection accessible to the public? Do you need advice for how to deal damaged records? Our archivist will travel to your institution and listen to your concerns, then work with you to explore solutions to your archive’s unique situation. This service is free for any institution in Utah.

To request a consultation, please call, email, or use the contact form below. Please give your name, role at your institution, and briefly describe the situation you are facing. Our archivist will contact you and arrange a visit when it is convenient for you.
