23 July will always be a memorable date for me because on that day two years ago I moved out of my ex-husband's house to start a happy new life. Happy and new are not figures of speech. Even though single-parenting isn't easy, and being the only one to earn our living isn't easy, and there are other things that aren't easy, too, I still don't regret it a single minute and my experience makes me want to say people, don't put up with terrible relationships, humilation, emotional abuse. Stand up to it even if you think that you're weak and unworthy, like I did at the time. It is so much better this way.
