Sharp like cotton.

Had the best weekend ever. For real.

Just a glance at the beach - but it was beautiful and windy and warmer than here.
Didn't get enough sleep. Got randomly sick and delirious. Ate some great food and drank some great alcohol.
I know where every bathroom is from Charlotte, NC to Myrtle Beach, SC... and the one in Orrum is the best.
Played bowling on the Wii and I was awesome - only Tony did better than me.
Bonded with my friends, as a foursome and one-on-one (Travis and I shared coming out stories -and the random sickness comradery; Liz and I realized we are food soulmates - and we kept waking up at the same time every morning).
And I met little Aubrey, who slept and ate... and then repeated those actions.
Saw a rainbow and a gorgeous sunset. Got caught in the rain and the fog. Looked for tornados.
Liz and I stayed in Charlotte one extra night due to our never-ending journey back (where there was a lot of fever and saltwater taffy and laughs).
We ate the best turkey burgers - then we all fell asleep on the couch as Public Enemies played on the television.

Yep. Best weekend I've had in a really long time.

Got to get back into the groove as far as writing goes. My little vacation is still in my blood, so I cannot seem to focus enough to write - but the urge is there, hovering in my head.
Am still in love with my time-travel SON fic. It is pure crack... which appeals to me.
The Falling needs to be wrapped up. The pieces are there and I just need to sew them together.
You've Got To Hide Your Love Away will take more patience, though. I know there are folks that want me to update all the time... but Ashley just came out to Kyla. I've got to do this right. *nods*

Now, Heroes. I wasn't that impressed with the two-hour season opener (or whatever you'd like to call it). But the next week picked up the pace.
And last night's episode??? Um, can I hear an 'awesome'?

Pass/Fail was bad-ass on so many levels.
I actually felt for Samuel - whacked out carny that he is. And I kept grinning because the lady that Samuel is in love with/obsessed with is played by Kate Vernon (who was Ellen on BSG).
Hiro is always cool. So is Ando.

But let's cut to the chase - it was all about Claire and Gretchen. Claire's little 'push me/pull me' shit was not unexpected.
However, Sylar getting the information from Claire-bear? THAT was made of win. WIN I TELL YOU.
Damn.
The 'there are all these pauses...' bit just about made me flip out I loved it so much.
Damn x2.
HAND HOLDING AND GRINNING?????
Damn x1,000,000,000.

Yay. Just... yay. :D
