Ah yes. It is that time again. Time for free music.
This City Of Neighborhoods: A Beechfields Record Label Compilation - Very Americana. The Seldon Plan is quite decent.
Ryan Auffenberg Marigolds - More Americana sound. Okay vocals, decent sound.
Miranda Lee Richards Light Of X - Americana/vaguely pop vocalist. Actually not a bad album. Highly recommend 'Lifeboat'.
Rick Mugrage Signs - Sappy pop with guitar.
Bardo Recurring Dream - Like a country-version of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. ...It is as disturbing as it sounds. LOL But you might like it.
Anya Marina Slow & Steady Seduction:Phase II - Pop mixed with some snapping lyrics. Not bad, not amazing. The cover is awesome.
Polysics We Ate the Machine - The best explanation I can give you is... a Japanese Ramones... in a way. But more electrical. Very different.
Blue October Approaching Normal - Typical rock of today.
The Priddle Concern - Not sure, kind of indie rock meets... folk. Makes me think of alternative rock of the 90's for some reason.
The Kinetiks Aye Aye Aye Aye - A child of The Strokes and Arctic Monkeys. From Dublin.
Oceanship - Folk and pop and singer/songwriter. Doesn't seem to fit in just one genre. Not bad stuff. I had to get used to the vocals. The packaging is so cool, though.
Alela Diane To Be Still - Folk and alt-country sound. Good vocals. Mellow slide-guitar stuff. (I have two copies)
Ryan Meagher Atroefy - Mostly jazz fusion type stuff. Has moments of classic jazz.
Stella Schindler Distant Hum - Reminds me a little of Beth Orton, but not THAT much. Folk sound. Decent vocals.
Anavan Cover Story - Electronica gone mad. Synth and guitars.
Jessi Kilguss Nocturnal Drifter - Sounds quite a bit like Aimee Mann. Singer/songwriter snarky pop. '31' is pretty good.
Nous Non Plus Menagerie - Americans singing in French, a little pop and a little electronica.
Hi Red Center Assemble - Discordant rock? Rough electronica? You decide. LOL
Sara Lov Seasoned Eyes Were Beaming - Pretty good vocals. Simple pop/songwriter sound.
Rose Polenzani Anybody - Folk sound. Interesting lyrics.
Gonna write tonight. Rhyme every time.
Work going well. Life going well.
Yippee! :D
Hope all of you out there are doing grand!
