U.S. Drift Circuit Rules & Regulations

US Drift Circuit and its staff reserve the right to interpret and enforce the following rules. By purchasing a driver’s ticket to a US Drift Circuit event, drivers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with the following rules. Should a vehicle fail the technical inspection, drivers will be given an opportunity to address the issue. However, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

Fun Run Rules

Drivers must wear long pants (SOME TRACKS), shoes that cover the entire foot, and helmets that meet Sa2015 or higher specs. NO OPEN-FACE HELMETS.

2. Fire extinguisher must have a metal head and be properly mounted and full.

3. Cages are not mandatory but highly encouraged.

4. Vehicle must be free of excessive leaks.

5. If the battery, fuel tank, and/or radiator are moved within the driver compartment, they must be separated by a bulkhead that does not use the trunk/hatch as part of its closing mechanism.

6. All wheel lug nuts must be present.

7. Foot pedal must operate all four brakes.

8. If a vehicle is a convertible, it must have at least a 4-point roll bar.

9. Stock seat belts are allowed; if using safety harnesses, these must be installed appropriately using at least a harness bar.

10. Vehicle must be free of loose items.

11. The battery must be securely tied down (no bungee cords, ratchet straps, extension cords, rope, zip ties, dock lines, fishing line, etc.), and the positive terminal must be covered.

12. Seats (DRIVER & PASSENGER) must be securely mounted to the vehicle

13. Windshield must be free of cracks or holes.

14. Helmets and seatbelts must be worn properly. If your gear is not on or worn properly, you will be parked, and sent to the back of the line or however track officials deem fit.

15. Respect the pits; no speeding, burnouts, or aggressive driving. LISTEN TO TRACK OFFICIALS!!!

16. You must attend the driver's meeting to pass tech. If you are late, we will give you a 1 on 1 Driver's meeting at our convenience.

17. You must have a driver's wristband to drive, and passengers must have a RAL(ride-along) or driver's wristband. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PASSENGER!!! Your passenger should know how to get out of the car quickly. This means knowing how to release the seatbelt/harness and open the car door.

18. Hands should remain in the vehicle at all times. Hands should not hold on to anything that could get pinched, such as the door bar.
