We support the arts in creating regenerative impact for our collective future.

UreCulture develops and implements strategies and management frameworks that support the culture sector in achieving its mission. We work with a wide range of museums, cultural institutions, foundations, governmental bodies, NGOs and artists across the Gulf region and Europe across the visual arts, cultural heritage and sustainability.

Aligned with our vision of the role the culture sector can play for our collective future, we work through the lens of regenerative sustainability to catalyse art as an agent of change and contribute to the regeneration of cultures and nature through net-positive solutions.

We provide bespoke strategic roadmaps tailored to the unique needs of each actor in the arts and culture ecosystem – from individual artists to museums and governmental bodies. Recognising that every actor holds a distinct sphere of influence, we emphasise their interconnected, systemic roles in shaping and advancing the culture sector.

OUR CLIENTS AND WORK
What we do

– We empower culture sector actors to become leaders in regenerative sustainability, specialising in ESG frameworks and reporting,  environmental assessments, carbon footprints and net-positive strategies.

– We plan and deliver cultural organisations and projects with our in-depth expertise in cultural management and strategy across the visual arts and cultural heritage.

UreCulture is an Active Member of the Gallery Climate Coalition (GCC) and a Founding Committee Member of GCC Spain. We are committed to supporting the GCC’s goal to reduce the global arts sector carbon emissions by 50% by 2030.

A culture sector that in achieving its mission respects planetary boundaries, regenerates nature and cultures, whilst also engaging in sustainability storytelling and solutions, is possible and necessary.

REGENERATIVE LEADERSHIP IN THE ARTS

UreCulture x TBA21 – The Ecological and Social Impact of the TBA21 Collection

UreCulture has partnered with TBA21 Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary, TBA21 Academy, and OceanSpace to develop innovative case studies of the ecological and social impact of the TBA21 Collection and its commissioning processes.

Using the European Commission’s European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) as a general approach and framework, we created EcoSocial Impact Reports that reflect both regenerative and negative impacts across environmental and social dimensions.

The first two TBA21 EcoSocial Impact Reports were developed for Claudia Comte’s series of sculptures and the Ocean Space exhibition, Re-Stor(y)ing Oceania.

The TBA21 EcoSocial Impact reports are an example of how  art institutions can embody regenerative leadership through culture-based action.
