Upd.dev is a version control hosting platform powered by a fork of Forgejo.
upd-forgejo repo is a hard fork of Forgejo, with many changes and improvements.
We are an alternative to the massive, corporate-owned silos that dominate the industry. This is a quiet, organic network designed for developers who care about craft over metrics.

upd.dev operates on a model of community autonomy.
- No Global Code of Conduct: We do not enforce a single social contract across the entire platform.
- No Global Stance on AI: Whether you use AI assistants or ban them entirely is up to you.
Your Repo, Your Rules. We expect project maintainers to define the culture and contribution guidelines for their own repositories. Please respect the specific rules of the project you are contributing to.
Note: While we value autonomy, illegal content or actions that threaten the stability of the server will be removed.
