NATURAL EYES VS SPIRITUAL EYES…..NATURAL EARS VS SPIRITUAL EARS

NATURAL EYES VS SPIRITUAL EYES……NATURAL EARS VS SPIRITUAL EARS

ACKNOWLEDGE THE FACTS - RECEIVE AND BELIEVE THE TRUTH

ACKNOWLEDGE THE FACTS – RECEIVE, BELIEVE AND SPEAK IN LINE WITH THE TRUTH

As a Believer you have two types of eyes….natural eyes and spiritual eyes.

The former are visible.

The latter are invisible.

The former allow vision through a natural mechanism.

The latter allow vision through a spiritual mechanism.

The former gather data and give a report to you based on sensory facts.

The latter gather data and give a report to you based on the eternal Truth of God’s Word.

When you look at your circumstances, do you receive, believe and align your speech with the report from your natural eyes, or do you receive, believe and align your speech with the report from your spiritual eyes?

As a Believer you have two types of ears…..natural ears and spiritual ears.

The former are visible.

The latter are invisible.

The former allow hearing through a natural mechanism.

The latter allow hearing through a spiritual mechanism.

The former gather data and give a report to you based on sensory facts.

The latter gather data and give a report to you based on the eternal Truth of God’s Word.

When you hear words about your circumstances, do you receive, believe and align your speech with the report from your natural ears, or do you receive, believe and align your speech with the report from your spiritual ears?

As a Believer you have a choice.

You can either choose to receive, believe and align your speech with the fact-full report produced by your natural eyes and ears, or you can choose to receive, believe and align your speech with the Truth-full report produced by your spiritual eyes and ears.

The report you choose to believe, receive and align your speech with will have the greatest influence on your circumstances and impact on your life.

CHOOSE WISELY – SELAH!

Be encouraged,

Kim

WORRIED ABOUT YOUR FUTURE?

WORRIED ABOUT YOUR FUTURE?

bird2

“I DON’T WORRY……….WHY DO YOU?”

Worry – “To torment oneself with or suffer from disturbing thoughts; fret; to torment with cares, anxieties etc.”

Why do you sit here and worry about your future?

Why do you wonder how you are going to make it?

Have you lost sight of who I AM?

Am I not God?

Did I not step out on nothingness, speak into nothingness and create all things?

Can any circumstance be larger than my potential?

Why do you sit here and worry about your future?

Why do you wonder how you’re going to make it?

Am I not your Father?

Do I not love you?

Do you think I sent my Son to die for you then just leave you helpless?

Has there ever been a time when I did not meet your needs?

Why do you sit here and worry about your future?

Why do you wonder how you’re going to make it?

Do I not take care of the flowers, grass and birds who mean far less to Me?

Do you not understand that everything in this earth realm belongs to Me, it is all Mine?

Have I ever neglected you in the past?

Is the future not in my hands?

Why do you sit here and worry about your future?

Why do you wonder how you’re going to make it?

Still your mind and have faith in Me.

Still your emotions and trust in Me.

Position yourself to hear then obey Me.

Seek first My Kingdom and righteousness and I will add to your life all that you need.

Why do you sit here and worry about your future?

Why do you wonder how you’re going to make it?

SELAH!

“I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”

(Jeremiah 32:27 – NIV)

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?

26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.

29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?

31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

(Matthew 6:25-34 – Amplified Bible)

“Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.

In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.”

(PROVERBS 3:3-6 – Amplified Bible)

KEEP TRUSTING IN HIM……”REMIX”

KEEP TRUSTING IN HIM…..”REMIX”

IN WHO OR WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO TRUST?

IT’S ESSENTIAL TO KEEP TRUSTING IN GOD

Today I’m reblogging a “remixed” version of a poem I wrote in April of 2011 called “Keep Trusting In Him”.

I’m reblogging it for all who are encountering difficult circumstances and need some encouragement to keep trusting in the Lord in spite of what is happening.

Be encouraged, be strengthened, and be blessed,…….and keep trusting Him.

IT’S TIME TO SHARE MY SECRET…….

IT’S TIME TO SHARE MY SECRET ………

HE'S GOT MY HEART ON LOCK

I CONFESS HE’S GOT MY HEART

Today is my day to share my secret…….to come out of the closet…..to open up.

I’m a kept woman.

I’m deeply involved with someone who is not my husband and I am unashamedly proud of it.

Why?

Because……

He loves me so much it blows my mind….

He knows everything about me, the good, the bad, and the ugly yet still wants to be with me…..

He cares about every aspect of my life and well-being…..

He is patient, kind, gentle, strong, forgiving, merciful and gracious…..

He defends and protects me and doesn’t like people trying to harm or mess with me…..

He’s a warrior and fears nothing or no one…..

He covers me and makes me feel safe and secure…..

He never wants me to worry about anything…..

He takes care of me whenever I get sick and helps be get well…..

He encourages me and lifts my spirits when I’m down…..

He knows everything I need and makes sure I have it, and often gives me gifts just because…..

He is wise and readily gives me sound advice no matter the situation…..

He lovingly corrects me when I’m wrong and alerts me to danger ahead of time…..

He has excellent morals and standards and never violates them…..

His character is impeccable…..

He is totally reliable and dependable and never disappoints or let’s me down…..

He never lies or tries to deceive me…..

He honors our relationship and is faithful and committed to it…..

He loves when we spend uninterrupted time together alone and wants to do it regularly…..

He loves when I talk openly about everything and can handle anything I say…..

He is always there for me 24/7 and promised never to walk out on me…..

He fills me with unspeakable joy…..

Most of all, He suffered and died for me and came back to life so we can be together forever…..

He is indescribably, unquestionably, amazing…..

The way He keeps me, I’d be a fool to leave Him.

JESUS LOVER OF MY SOUL

So now you know my secret.

I’m a kept woman and unashamedly proud of it.

And for the record, I did not pursue Him to start this relationship, He pursued me.

Selah!

“YOU ARE GOD ALONE”

“YOU ARE GOD ALONE”

The song “YOU ARE GOD ALONE” has been in my spirit continually since singing it on Sunday morning in worship service.

It’s there in the morning when I wake up, during the day and at night as I prepare to go to sleep…..the words are so true, powerful, uplifting, encouraging and really minister to my spirit.

It has blessed me so much that I decided to post it tonight.

Hope it blesses you and reminds you that no matter your situation God is God and there is no situation, no thing and no one greater than Him…..trust Him!

Kim

“YOU ARE GOD ALONE”

“You Are God Alone”

You are not a god
Created by human hands
You are not a god
Dependent on any mortal man
You are not a god
In need of anything we can give
By Your plan, that’s just the way it is

[Chorus]
You are God alone
From before time began
You were on Your throne
Your are God alone
And right now
In the good times and bad
You are on Your throne
You are God alone

You’re the only God
Whose power none can contend
You’re the only God
Whose name and praise will never end
You’re the only God
Who’s worthy of everything we can give
You are God
And that’s just the way it is

[Chorus]

[Bridge]
Unchangeable
Unshakable
Unstoppable
That’s what You are

[Bridge]

IS ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR THE LORD?

BY ELAINE TAVOLACCI

There is a story in the bible about a great man of faith named Abraham. Abraham and his wife Sarah left their families and even their country trusting the Lord at His word to bless them and make them a great nation. In Genesis chapter seventeen the Lord appeared to him when he was ninety nine years old and told him that his wife Sarah was going to have a baby boy the following year. She would be ninety and he would be one hundred years old. Abraham fell on his face and laughed. Although he was a man of faith, this sounded ridiculous to him. In chapter eighteen, The Lord appeared to him again as three men came to him. He told Abraham once again that Sarah was going to have a son. Sarah overheard this conversation and she also laughed in unbelief. Although they trusted the Lord all along, they were now looking at their situation in the natural which was their old age. Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord?

The Lord says, is there anything too difficult for Me? Don’t allow situations in the natural to steal your faith. Trust in My promises and provisions. Do not see yourself as inadequate but know that I can do more with your life than you could do in the natural. I am El Shaddai and nothing is too difficult for Me. Just as I asked Abraham to sacrifice that which was most precious to him, his son was returned back to him unharmed. I will not take from you that which I promised to you. Just as I told Abraham to leave everything behind and trust Me in the journey ahead, I am calling you to trust Me with your future. Just as I led Abraham, I will also lead you. I am the same yesterday, today and forever and I am still speaking today. Just as I honored Abrahams prayers and did not destroy the city for ten righteous, will I not honor your prayers? Trust Me for your families, your cities and even your countries to be brought into My kingdom. Believe My word to answer every prayer and supplication.

Don’t make hasty decisions which will produce an Ishmael. Wait on that which I have promised to you because it shall surely come to pass. Just as I made a Covenant with Abraham, I have made a Covenant with you. Wait on the promise, your promised seed, Isaac is on the way. Don’t allow the enemy to magnify the difficulties in your life and make situations appear impossible. I will bring you through tough times that you have not been able to go through on your own, and open the doors that need to be opened. Trust Me to move every obstacle that is blocking you from getting to your destination. Go forward in that which I have commissioned for you to do. Go without fear or wavering, surrendering all for the assignment and promise that I have for your life; says the Lord.

Genesis 17:15-17
“Then God said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall be her name. And I will bless her and also give you a son by her; then I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of peoples shall be from her.” Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart, “Shall a child be born to a man who is one hundred years old? And shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child?”

Genesis 18:10 -14
“And He said, “I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son.” (Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him.) Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age; and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?” And the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”

Romans 4:3
“Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

Hebrews 11:8 -12
“By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude-innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.”

OVERCOMING OBSTACLES – A FIGHT TO THE FINISH

OVERCOMING OBSTACLES – A FIGHT TO THE FINISH

CONGRATULATIONS TIFFANY!

CONGRATULATIONS TIFFANY!

On Sunday past, Bahamian Best Selling Author, Tiffany C. Edgecombe launched her latest book, “Overcoming Obstacles – A Fight To The Finish”.

Today I’m giving a big SHOUT OUT to Tiffany and rejoice with her on this major accomplishment, especially personally knowing the hard work, sacrifice and effort she put into writing it from birth to completion, and the way she waited to hear from the Lord before penning any words, ensuring to the best of her ability that what she wrote reflected His desires and His heart.

As is usually the case with God ordained assignments, there were many obstacles the enemy threw into Tiffany’s path as she sought to complete the book, but by God’s grace she overcame each one and fought to finish it.

The excerpt from the back of the book reads as follows:

The Perfect Book for Anyone Struggling with Life or their Faith

Why is my path so difficult? All of us have asked ourselves that same question from time to time. Believers sometimes begin to doubt their faith because their life is filled with so many obstacles. They want to know why God lets them struggle. Skeptics often see obstacles as confirmation that God doesn’t exist, or if He does, He doesn’t care about them. If you have ever felt this way, this inspirational book is for you. Inside you will discover:

• The nature of life’s race
• How to overcome the obstacles we face
• How to stay steadfast relying on God’s strength and power
• How to be patient through it all
• How to slay the giants in our life
• The power of prayer to soothe the soul and deliver us from danger
• Why we have no reason to fear
• The best ways to get in spiritual shape

“Overcoming Obstacles” shows that life is a race filled with struggles and obstacles. These things are not here to punish us, but to teach us. Once we learn that we cannot make it on our own, we allow God to guide us. It is only through His power that we are able to overcome any obstacle.

If you or someone you love is on the verge of a spiritual heart attack, or if you need an injection of faith to keep going, this is the book for you! It will help you to make sense of the challenges in life and show how each of us can get back into the spiritual shape we need to finish the path the Lord has set for us.

The sooner you get this inspirational book, the sooner you will be ready to face down any obstacle with God’s overcoming power. The “Overcoming Obstacles Small Group Study Guide” is also available.

Having read the excerpt, if any of those words resonate with you, be encouraged to pick up a copy of “Overcoming Obstacles – A Fight To The Finish” published by Christian Living Books, Inc., from http://www.christianlivingbooks.com, http://www.amazon.com or contact Tiffany at tichedesigns@icloud.com or tichedesigns@gmail.com to get a copy.

Congratulations again Tiffany!

Shalom,

Kim
