HE’S MY FRIEND!…….SHE’S MY FRIEND!…….REALLY???

HE’S MY FRIEND!………..SHE’S MY FRIEND!……..REALLY???

TRUE FRIENDS ARE A GIFT FROM GOD

“When satan wants to destroy us, he places a person in our life.

Likewise, when God wants to bless us, He places a person in our life.”

(Mike Murdock – source unknown)

HE’S MY FRIEND!……….SHE’S MY FRIEND!……..REALLY???

Who are the people in your life you consider as friends?

Who have you allowed to have access to your personal life, to visit your inner sanctum, your private place of hopes, dreams, deepest thoughts, problems and fears?

Pause for a moment and think about it.

Do you have these people in mind?

Now here’s the key question………are they really friends?

Don’t answer this quickly and defensively with an unqualified “yes”.

Take some time to really think about it.

Are they really friends?

Here are some factors for you to prayerfully consider in your evaluation:-

  1. Is honoring Jesus Christ a priority in this person’s life?
  2. Does this person encourage me to grow in my relationship with the Lord?
  3. Does this person urge me to do what is right in the eyes of God?
  4. Do I act in a God-honoring way when around this person or do I tend to compromise what I know to be right?
  5. Does this person make me feel more passionate or less passionate about the things of God?
  6. Do I leave this person’s presence feeling closer to God or farther away?
  7. Does contact with this person energize or drain me, bring me up or pull me down?
  8. Are the conversations I have with this person godly, uplifting, wholesome, and purposeful or are they negative, trivial, slanderous and gossipy?
  9. Is there a mutual exchange between us or for the most part, is the person always taking and I always giving?
  10. Are the social/recreational activities I do with this person helping or hurting me?
  11. Does this person have respect for my dreams, goals and values?
  12. Does this person have respect for my spouse, marriage and family?
  13. Is my interaction with this person who is not my spouse sexually pure or is there some form of sexual undercurrent or compromise?
  14. How do I behave around my spouse and family after being with this person, positively or negatively?
  15. Am I sticking with this person out of convenience because I do not believe I can make new friends or do I genuinely want this person’s company?
  16. Is this person subtracting from or adding to my other friendships and/or relationships?
  17. Is this person an enemy or ally of my relationship with the Lord and His purpose, plans and destiny for my life?
  18. Overall, is God pleased with the influence of this person on my life?

HE’S MY FRIEND!……….SHE’S MY FRIEND!……..REALLY???

So what is the Holy Spirit speaking to your heart about the friends in your life?

Are there some persons who He is telling you to distance yourself from, to no longer confide in, to no longer allow to spend time in your presence or converse with?

As Believers, it is our responsibility to discern the source and motivation of our friendships.

This is extremely important because the friendships we make can make us or break us.

Those we “keep company” with have great influence on our lives either for better or for worse so it is incumbent upon us to with the help of the Holy Spirit qualify the soil of a person’s heart before giving them access to our inner lives as friends.

“He that walks with wise men will be wise: but a companion of fools will be destroyed.”

(Proverbs 13:20 – NKJV)

“A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”

(Proverbs 17:17 – NKJV)

“Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.”

(Proverbs 27:6 – NKJV)

“Ointment and perfume delight the heart, And the sweetness of a man’s friend gives delight by hearty counsel.”

(Proverbs 27:9 – NKJV)

“As iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”

(Proverbs 27:17 – KJV)

“A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”

(Proverbs 18:24 – NKJV)

“Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”

(1 Corinthians 15:33 – NKJV)

HE’S A FRIEND………..SHE’S A FRIEND……..REALLY???

THE ZONE

THE ZONE

"GET IN THE ZONE AND TRUST GOD"

“GET IN THE ZONE AND TRUST GOD”

There is a place that I call THE ZONE.

It is a place you enter by determining to submit fully to the Lord in the midst of a difficult circumstance.

It is a place of prioritizing pleasing the Lord above all else independent of what anyone does or does not do to or for you.

It is a place where the only thing that matters is obeying the Lord and meeting His requirements no matter what transpires.

It is a place of intense trust in the Lord and reliance on Him to call the shots whether or not you understand, agree with or like what He decides; your views, opinions or feelings have no voting power there.

It is a place of pain to your flesh because when flesh rears its head and wants to take command of your will, flesh must die.

It is a place of intense character formation, spiritual grounding, and maturation.

It is a place of peace, protection, power, grace and joy, saturated by the presence of God.

It is a place of divine fellowship and favor because your decision to keep the Lord on the seat of the throne of your heart in spite of what happens or does not happen greatly pleases Him.

it is a place the enemy despises because he can’t touch you there the way he desires to touch you.

It is a place the enemy despises because he can’t mess with your mind and your emotions and have you at the point of a nervous breakdown the way he’d like to.

It is a place the enemy despises because his weapons have no true effect there.

It is a place that once into, the enemy desperately wants to get you to step out of so he has a chance to destroy some aspect of your being.

It is a place that if by some chance under the stress of your circumstances you temporarily step outside of, perhaps in a surge of intense emotions or momentary poor judgment, it is best to repent and run back into its covering as quickly as you can; never let guilt and condemnation keep you from returning.

It is a place of supernatural strength for your body, soul and spirit to endure the most daunting vicissitudes of life.

It is a place of assured victory.

It is a place I call THE ZONE.

SELAH!

Kim

“So, since Christ suffered in the flesh for us,  for you, arm yourselves with the same thought and purpose [patiently to suffer rather than fail to please God]. For whoever has suffered in the flesh [having the mind of Christ] is done with [intentional] sin [has stopped pleasing himself and the world, and pleases God], So that he can no longer spend the rest of his natural life living by [his] human appetites and desires, but [he lives] for what God wills.”

(I Peter 4:1, 2 – Amplified Bible)

“Therefore, those who are ill-treated and suffer in accordance with God’s will must do right and commit their souls [in charge as a deposit] to the One Who created [them] and will never fail [them].”

(I Peter 4:19 – Amplified Bible)

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you.”

TEST, TRIAL, DIFFICULT SITUATION? – PRAISE!

TEST, TRIAL, DIFFICULT SITUATION? – PRAISE!

"PRAISE GOD IS SPITE OF YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES"

“PRAISE GOD IN SPITE OF YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES”

Whenever we are in the midst of a test, trial or difficult situation, the enemy wants us to focus on our circumstances and not on God.

He wants our minds wrapped up in what has happened, has not happened, is happening, is not happening, may happen, may not happen, what the person(s) involved in the situation did, did not do, is doing, is not doing, may do, may not do, how we feel, how others feel, what is said, and so on and so on and so on.

Why?

Because He knows that the more we focus on our circumstances, the more we maximize our circumstances, and the more we maximize our circumstances, the more we minimize God, and the more we minimize God, the more our faith in God is minimized and the more our faith in God is minimized, the easier it is for us to neglect praise.

And why would the enemy want us to neglect praise?

Because he knows praise is a powerful weapon of war against him.

He knows praise gets God’s attention because when we praise God, it is an act of obedience and a demonstration of our love for God and God inhabits the praises of His people.

He knows that once we begin to praise God, it magnifies God in our minds and in our spirits and our focus shifts from our circumstances to God; to who He is, what He has done, and what He can do, and this builds our faith.

He knows praise lifts our eyes from the battle to the Victor and this gives us the assurance that no matter what, the victory is ours.

He knows praise multiplies our faith in God and gives us the strength, hope and power we need to endure until the manifestation of our victorious end.

Are you so engrossed in a test, trial or difficult situation today that you find it difficult to praise God?

If so, I urge you to pause now for a moment and begin to think of God.

Think of His goodness.

Think of His love.

Think of His power.

Think of a time in the past that He came through for you.

As you think of Him and if praise does not begin to flow from your lips, as a step of faith and in a spirit of determination to still praise Him, say:-

Father God I praise You today.

In spite of my circumstances………I praise You.

In spite of my situation………I praise You.

In the midst of my tears……..I praise You.

I push aside worry, hurt, pain and disappointment to praise You.

I push aside fear, disillusionment, confusion and despair to praise You.

I push aside my enemies, my haters, my users and abusers to praise You.

I push aside those who stole from me, lied about me, cheated on me, and maligned my name to praise You.

I push aside those who scorn me, tear me down, wish me ill and do me wrong to praise You.

Father I push aside everyone and everything to praise You.

You are faithful, loving, gracious and kind.

You are merciful, just, compassionate and wise.

You are great, mighty, awesome, powerful, able to do exceedingly abundantly above all I can ask think or imagine.

You are the all-knowing, ever-present, slow to anger, excellent, eternal, Holy One.

The Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the Great I AM, the Ancient of Days.

You O God are the One who spoke and it was, the One who speaks and it is, for when You decree a thing, it is so.

Father God I praise You for who You are.

You set up governments and rulers and take them down.

You uphold the universe by the Word of Your power.

Your enemies melt like wax in Your presence; they blow away as chaff in the wind.

You sit on Your throne and laugh at them for You know their day is coming and You know their end.

You hold the life of every living creature and the breath of mankind in Your hand.

What other god is like you?

There is none like You.

You are the only true and living God.

There is nothing too hard for you.

So Father, right now, because of who You are I exalt You, I extol You, I lift You up, and I magnify Your Holy Name.

I bless and give you the highest praise.

Hallelujah!

Hallelujah!

Hallelujah!

I praise you for being the great God that You are.

I praise You for loving me.

I praise You for being my Father.

Let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in me and in my circumstances for Your honor and glory.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen! and Amen!

Whatever your test, trial or difficult situation, remember that praise is a powerful weapon against the enemy and a key to your breakthrough so it is important to praise God in spite of your circumstances even if the praise is offered as a sacrifice to Him.

Be blessed as you listen to Alvin Slaughter & Inside Out sing “Sacrifice of Praise”

THE SON IS BEYOND YOUR CLOUDS

THE SON IS BEYOND YOUR CLOUDS

"THERE'S SUN BEYOND THE CLOUDS"

“DOES YOUR LIFE HAVE CLOUDY GREY SKIES?”

This morning when I woke up and looked outside I was greeted by drizzling rain and a blanket of grey clouds instead of golden sunshine and clear blue skies.

Apart from the daylight, there was absolutely no sign that the sun even existed; not a clue.

However, just because I could not see the sun did not mean that it was not there…….Selah!

If I really wanted to confirm that fact, all I had to do was board an airplane and take a flight.

After take off, with incredible thrust the airplane would pierce through the clouds and in moments, the same golden sunshine and clear blue skies that I could not see while on the ground would be visible.

How is the weather in your life?

Are you experiencing cloudy grey skies?…….cloudy grey skies of unpaid bills, mounting debt, unemployment, a failed business, sickness, marital problems, wayward kids, job stress, apathy, depression or suicidal thoughts?

Is the sky of your life overcast with so many problems, issues and challenges that you can’t see the Son?

Are you in a state where other than the written Word, from your view, there is absolutely no sign that the Son exists; not a clue?

Well, take heart, because just how the sun is still there on a rainy, cloudy day even though you can’t see it, the Son is still there in the midst of your rainy, cloudy circumstances even though you can’t see Him…..Selah!

If you believe this, position yourself on the runway of prayer and ask the Holy Spirit to propel you through the clouds of your circumstances until by faith you see the Son, because remember, He is there.

Note that once an airplane penetrates the clouds and enters the realm of golden sunshine and clear blue skies, it does not stop ascending, but continues to do so until it reaches the cruising altitude.

As you ascend in prayer, after penetrating the clouds of your circumstances and entering the presence of the Son don’t stop there, continue to ascend until you reach your “cruising altitude”.

What is your “cruising altitude”?

It is that high place of faith where you truly grasp the fact that God is bigger than your circumstances and know in the depths of your spirit that no matter what happens, the victory is yours in Christ Jesus and you rest in this truth.

Ascending to “cruising altitude” and remaining there is important because this will enable you to fly above the clouds of your circumstances and experience minimal turbulence in your spirit until the weather in your life changes.

Be aware that just how an airplane needs to keep fighting gravity and exerting power to remain at its cruising altitude above the clouds, you will have to keep fighting doubt and exerting faith to remain at your “cruising altitude” above the clouds of your circumstances.

The good news though is that unlike an airplane that runs on fuel that can run out and cause it to stop flying, you have the power of the Holy Spirit available to help you fly above your circumstances and His fuel tank is inexhaustible….praise the Lord!

Be encouraged by the lyrics of  Yolanda Adam’s “Yet Still I Rise”.

And one last thing, remember that according to Ecclesiastes 3:1, to everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heavens so be encouraged in that God will change the weather forecast in your life at the appointed time; the grey clouds and rain won’t last forever.

Blessings!

ARE YOU WALKING IN DECEIT?

ARE YOU WALKING IN DECEIT?

"ARE YOU WALKING I DECEIT?"

“ARE YOU WALKING IN DECEIT?”

Deceit

The act or practice of deceiving;

concealment or distortion of the truth for the purpose of misleading;

duplicity;

fraud;

cheating;

trick;

stratagem;

the quality of being deceitful;

falseness;

an act intended to deceive.

Are you walking in deceit?

Are you living a double life?

Are you purposefully misleading your spouse, children, family, friends, pastor, fellow Believers, employer, neighbors and community into falsely believing something about you that is absolutely not true?

Are you covering up a sinful practice and think that you are so slick, so smart, so sly, so cunning and so convincing that no one will ever know what you are really up to, in to, or about?

Newsflash!!!!!……..God sees and He knows.

King David was guilty of adultery and murder and had an elaborate cover-up scheme but he forgot one key factor in the picture……..God.

II Samuel 11 records the details of what transpired and the chapter ends with this sentence, “But the thing David had done displeased the Lord.”

God saw all that David did even though David sought to cover it up.

God then revealed everything David did to the Prophet Nathan and sent Nathan to confront David.

II Samuel 12 records how Nathan went to David and exposed David’s secret sins (verses 7-10) and pronounced God’s judgment upon David and his household (verses 11-12, 14).

Verse 13 records David’s subsequent confession and forgiveness. In this verse David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord” (confession) and Nathan replied, “The Lord has taken away your sin, you are not going to die” (forgiveness).

Are you walking in deceit?

Just how God knew about David’s secret sin, He knows about yours.

Just how God revealed David’s secret sin, He can reveal yours.

Just how God judged David’s secret sin, He will judge yours.

Just how God forgave David upon confession and repentance of his sins, He will forgive you.

SELAH!

Listen to how King David describes the effects of sin and deceitfulness in Psalm 32:1-5 (Amplified Bible):

Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is he who has forgiveness of his transgression continually exercised upon him, whose sin is covered.

Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man to whom the Lord imputes no iniquity and in whose spirit there is no deceit.

When I kept silence [before I confessed], my bones wasted away through my groaning all the day long.

For day and night Your hand [of displeasure] was heavy upon me; my moisture was turned into the drought of summer. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I did not hide. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord [continually unfolding the past till all is told]—then You [instantly] forgave me the guilt and iniquity of my sin. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

Are you walking in deceit?

God is a gracious God.

He warns and convicts us of our sins in the private confines of our heart and gives us a chance to repent before openly disciplining us, executing judgment upon our lives or exposing our sins publicly.

Verses 3 and 4 show us that God was dealing with David in regard to His sins, but instead of confessing them, David kept silent and resisted the conviction, even to the point of suffering physically.

Is God dealing with or convicting you of an area of deceit in your life even as you read this post?

In verse 5 David states that when he acknowledged his sin to God, no longer hid his iniquity and decided to confess his transgressions, then God forgave him the guilt and the iniquity of his sin.

I believe this was an extremely joyous experience for David and it is why he starts the Psalm out by saying, “Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is he who has forgiveness of his transgression continually exercised upon him, whose sin is covered. Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man to whom the Lord imputes no iniquity and in whose spirit there is no deceit.” (Amplified Bible)

Wouldn’t you like to experience the joy of that forgiveness?

Wouldn’t you like to experience the joy of having your spirit free of deceit?

In verse 6 of Psalms 32 states, “For this [forgiveness] let everyone who is godly pray—pray to You in a time when You may be found; surely when the great waters [of trial] overflow, they shall not reach [the spirit in] him.”

After receiving forgiveness for his sin, David called for all godly persons in need of such forgiveness to pray to God to receive it while God may be found stating that if they do, “surely when the great waters of trial overflow” or in other words, when all hell breaks loose, “they shall not reach [the spirit in] him” or that person will not be be overcome in his spirit by whatever he has to face.

Are you walking in deceit?

God desires that you repent today.

He wants you to lay down the burden of trickery, falseness and lies.

He wants you to confess your sins and forsake them.

He wants you to receive forgiveness, regain your joy and be free again.

He wants and you to have restored fellowship with Him.

Are you willing?

Will you do what He wants so He can give you what you need?

My prayer is that you accept His invitation and  make it right today.

“If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].”

(I John 1:9 – Amplified Bible)

PEACE! – JEHOVAH SEES AND KNOWS

PEACE! – JEHOVAH SEES AND KNOWS

"PEACE! - GOD IS WITH YOU"

“PEACE! – GOD IS WITH YOU”

Lord,

This is hard.

This is so, so hard.

I don’t think I can handle this?

Why aren’t you changing this situation?

Do you not see what is happening to me?

Do you not know what I am dealing with?

Lord, do you see?

Lord, do you know?

Is this you today?

Are you dealing with a situation that is so intense or so prolonged that at times you wonder if God really sees and really knows what is going on concerning you?

Maybe somewhere deep down inside you expected your journey with the Lord to be easier and you feel disappointed, disillusioned and abandoned because of the difficulties that you presently face.

Although you may not understand what is happening, or why it is happening, Jehovah, the Self-Existing Eternal One sees and knows exactly what you are dealing with.

Yes the situation is hard, yes you are suffering, and no, you did not expect to be dealing with it at this point in your life.

The questions run deep, they swirl around your mind like a whirlwind, tumbling over all that was once so settled, so stable,  so secure, so planned.

Although you may not understand what is happening, or why it is happening, Jehovah, the Self-Existing Eternal One sees and knows exactly what you are dealing with.

As Believers, many times we don’t want to embrace the fact that during our walk with Christ in this world, we will have trials and tribulations, yet the Word is clear on this issue.

Psalms 34:19 states:-

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.” (NKJV)

In John 16:33 Jesus states:-

“I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart,  because I have overcome the world.” (NLT)

James 1:2-4 states:-

“Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.

For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.

So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” (NLT)

In John 15:18-20, Jesus states:-

“If the world hates you, know that it hated Me before it hated you.

If you belonged to the world, the world would treat you with affection and would love you as its own. But because you are not of  the world [no longer one with it], but I have chosen (selected) you out of the world, the world hates (detests) you.

Remember that I told you, A servant is not greater than his master [is not superior to him]. If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word and obeyed My teachings, they will also keep and obey yours.” (Amplified Bible)

God sees and knows what you are walking through.

From before the foundation of the world was laid He knew this season of your life would arise and He has already put in you, around you and prepared for you all that you need to come out as pure gold.

Do you believe that today?

In Matthew 28:20, the Lord promises that He will always be with us, even to the end of the age, in Hebrews 13:5 He promises never to leave us nor forsake us and in I Corinthians 6:19 and II Timothy 1:14 we are told that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and He dwells in us.

This means that God is right there with you in your situation whether you perceive Him or not and since He is there, He must see and must know exactly what you are dealing with.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us to everything there is a season and a time to a every purpose under the heavens

To everything there is a season.

To everything there is a set determined time with a beginning and an ending.

Praise God that “everything“includes your present situation.

God sees and knows what you are walking through.

Psalms 30:5 tells us that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning……..after the night season comes the morning season and with that morning season will come your joy.

Romans 8:28 states, “We are confident that God is able to orchestrate everything to work toward something good and beautiful when we love Him and accept His invitation to live according to His plan.” (The Voice Bible)

Do you believe these scriptures?

Settle the matter once and for all.

Although you may not understand what is happening, or why it is happening, Jehovah, the Self-Existing Eternal One sees and knows exactly what you are dealing with and is with you to help you come through.

I found this song by Lionel Peterson called “Peace” which I believe will bless you as you set your mind to come through.

PEACE! JEHOVAH SEES AND KNOWS AND HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU.

Be encouraged!

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD

"NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD"

“NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD”

When I woke up this morning, the first thing I heard in my spirit is “Nothing is impossible with God”.

Then I heard it again, “Nothing is impossible with God”.

My mind then went on some of the things that I want to see manifested in my life and the lives of others, and I heard it again, “Nothing is impossible with God”.

Next, an old chorus written by Eugene L. Clarke in 1966 that we used to sing many, many years ago at my former place of worship came to mind.

The words are as follows:-

“Nothing is impossible when you put your trust in God;

Nothing is impossible when you’re trusting in His Word.

Hearken to the voice of God to thee;
”Is there anything too hard to Me?”

Then put your trust in God alone and rest upon His Word;

For ev’rything, O, ev’rything, yes ev’rything is possible with God.”

“Nothing is impossible with God”.

So what does impossible mean?

According to Dictionary.Com, impossible has the following meanings:-

Impossible

1.  “Not able to occur, exist, or be done”

2. “Very difficult to deal with”

“Nothing is impossible with God”

Nothing is “not able to occur, exist or be done” with God.

Nothing is “very difficult to deal with” with God.

SELAH!

Are you facing an impossible situation today?

Your marriage is “on the rocks”, you hurt deeply and are at a total lost as to how to make it better .

Your child is in a season of waywardness and rebellion and no matter how much you try to help them “see the light”, no change for the better  is evident.

Your finances are so messed up you don’t even know how to start to tunnel out of the dark cave of debt.

Your career was finally “taking off” now talks of downsizing and closure ring in the atmosphere.

Your doctor just gave a bad report with a terrible prognosis.

Whatever your situation, it may be impossible to you, but it is not impossible to God.

“Nothing is impossible with God”

In Matthew 19:26 in response to a situation deemed not possible by his disciples, Jesus said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

“Nothing is impossible with God”

When faced with “impossible” situations, it is critical that we trust in the fact that God is good, He loves us, and He is well able to execute His will in any situation……He is God!

Seek His wisdom, repent of any exposed sin, follow His instructions to you, align your life with His Word, praise and worship Him in spite of your circumstance, thank Him in advance for working things out in a way that He knows is best for you, and rely upon His grace to make bring you through.

“Nothing is impossible with God”

Below are three music videos based on the fact that nothing is impossible with God.

Think for a moment about your “impossible” situation then listen to the words of each of them and let your faith in the mighty, loving, faithful, wise God you serve arise.

ALL GLORY BE TO CHRIST

ALL GLORY BE TO CHRIST

'ALL GLORY BE TO CHRIST"

“ALL GLORY BE TO CHRIST”

I first heard the song “All Glory Be To Christ” by “Kings Kaleidoscope” from their album “Joy Has Dawned” yesterday thanks to Darrell Creswell posting it on his blog, http://www.darrellcreswell.wordpress.com.

Set to the tune of Auld Lang Syne, it was such a timely and powerful rendition of truth that I decided to share it as well.

The lyrics by Dustin Kensrue are as follows:-

Should nothing of our efforts stand
No legacy survive
Unless the Lord does raise the house
In vain its builders strive

To you who boast tomorrow’s gain
Tell me what is your life
A mist that vanishes at dawn
All glory be to Christ!

All glory be to Christ our king!
All glory be to Christ!
His rule and reign will ever sing
All glory be to Christ!

His will be done
His kingdom come
On earth as is above
Who is Himself our daily bread
Praise Him the Lord of love

Let living water satisfy
The thirsty without price
We’ll take a cup of kindness yet
All glory be to Christ!

All glory be to Christ our king!
All glory be to Christ!
His rule and reign will ever sing
All glory be to Christ!

When on the day the great I Am
The faithful and the true
The Lamb who was for sinners slain
Is making all things new

Behold our God shall live with us
And be our steadfast light
And we shall ere his people be
All glory be to Christ!

All glory be to Christ our king!
All glory be to Christ!
His rule and reign will ever sing
All glory be to Christ!

Here is the music video…..listen and be blessed!

Shalom!
