Inspiration

AI-ify Your World

In this category, you’ll use the power of AI to glean insights into the data that is trapped within your Docusign agreements. You can use any AI technology, such as Microsoft Copilot, Salesforce Einstein, Amazon AI services, your own LLM models, or any other AI technology that showcases the power of AI to unlock agreement data. Bonus points if you use Docusign AI capabilities, such as our new Navigator API to unlock the power of your agreement data. Ideas for this category include:

  • AI Assistants and Chatbots: Natural Language interface to quickly answer agreement questions, E.g. “When does this contract expire”, “what are the payment terms?”
  • Post-Signature Obligation Manager: App to use agreement insights to manage key contract deliverables, milestones, and obligations from signed agreements and integrate them into project management tools or calendars.

HACK-FOR-GOOD

In this category, we challenge you to use the power of the Docusign for Developers platform to help others. Create an innovative end-to-end solution that helps fill the mission of a non-profit organization anywhere in the world that you are passionate about. Whether it is to save the rainforests, find homes for pets, address world hunger, or any other mission you care about, use your hacking skills to show how you can help a non-profit organization, especially showing how to connect end-to-end data from disconnected systems. Bonus points if you use multiple Docusign API categories (not just eSignature) and/or use the power of our new extension apps + API integration. Ideas for this category include:

  • Fundraiser App: An extension that prompts signers at the end of the agreement process to contribute to a cause. It seamlessly captures their information and integrates with a fundraising platform, allowing for easy donations to support non-profit initiatives.
  • Pet Adoption & Sponsor App: Extension app to serve animal shelters and pet rescue organizations. After signing adoption or foster care agreements, the app prompts users to either sponsor additional animals or sign up for regular donations to support the shelter. It integrates payment systems, CRM tools, and animal tracking platforms to help shelters manage adoptions and sponsorships, ensuring that donors and adopters receive regular updates on the animals they've helped.

MAKING THE IMPOSSIBLE…POSSIBLE

In this category, the sky’s the limit! Think outside-the-box and try to code something that uses Docusign technologies to solve what seems impossible (or perhaps just impractical). Innovation is the key to this category. Bonus points if your solution includes creating an extension app that leverages a complete workflow. Ideas for this category include:

  • FAA App: In the US, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is looking to identify all civilian drones. You could use Docusign to “sign” all drones with a unique ID. There are many parts to a workflow that you’d have to think through to make this an end-to-end solution.
  • Healthcare Integration or App: Healthcare and vaccinations are top-of-mind for millions of people. However, it is difficult to know what the right healthcare solutions are, given the plethora of data in web sites, recommended vaccinations for travel to specific regions, and medical records residing in disparate systems. You could think about how a project could tie these systems together in a secure way, while maintaining data security and authentication of each user to provide a great patient experience that is friction-free.
