Eligibility
- You must be 13+, and either a high school or college student
- Your project must be original, and not copied from any other source
- You may not use code written prior to the start of the Hackathon
- Your Project must be submitted on time
- Your Entry must be in English
- You must be enrolled in the Hackathon on both the Devpost, and Our Website (Joining the Discord Server is also highly recommended)
- You must follow the MLH Code of Conduct
Teams
- Teams can have up to 4 people.
- However, working solo is also allowed.
- Once the Coding period has started, teams can no longer be changed
- Teams members must be listed on Devpost
- You can find team members by asking in our "looking-for-team" channel in our Discord
Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Creativity
Is the project a new idea? Does the project provide a new experience or simplify an existing workflow? -
Practicality
Could this idea actually be implemented in real life? Would people be motivated to use it? Is it a functioning solution that can scale in the real world? -
Presentation
Is the project pitched in a convincing and engaging manner? Is the idea presented clearly and in a way that's easy to approach? -
Technical Complexity
Does the project involve complex technologies or intricate systems? How relevant are the solutions your project presents? -
Design
Is the UI design user-friendly and intuitive? Does the design enhance user experience and engagement?
