Easter recap, yes I'm still alive. WEDNESDAY Apr 11th, 2007 at 3:34PM mood | awake Easter was a blast, and this is probably the first time I've ever said that because normally I hate Easter. It's a weird holiday to hate but I despise the fact that it's a holiday where generally nothing happens. This year Amber, Jamie, and I loaded up Amber's car and went to Roanoke to visit our friends who live up there. Amber and I spent most of the night looking up dollfie's with Sam upstairs (Amber is buying one of the 70cm dolls which is costing her roughly $700 for the wig, the clothes, the eyes, the make up, the doll and the shipping), while Jamie played on the Wii downstairs. Sunday we headed back to Richmond but stopped at the natural bridge and spent most of the day there. We went through the wax museum - got really creeped out, then went to the cavern tour and Jamie kept asking people if they'd seen the Descent. After that it was hiking on the natural bridge trail. We ended up staying up all night roleplaying which was great because Amber tends to dominate the storytelling as much as I do and she likes horror and adventure and I'm not so good with ideas for those storylines. Monday we went shopping and the four of us (us girls and Dan) had dinner together courtesy of Amber's magic kitchen and watched a couple movies. Amber passed out during Employee of the Month and then woke up and decided I needed to watch the Descent. So fun was had for Easter for once. I'll post pictures as soon as Jamie sends me hers. snicker

She's baaaaaaaack. THURSDAY Jan 11th, 2007 at 2:20AM Maybe. Possibly. I'm hoping so. I've moved half way across the country and since been absorbed in the real world. I've got a job in a spa and all that good stuff (where lately I've been playing wax-test dummy for our new esthetian). The whole friend-making thing has been rather unrewarding for the most part. I've got Jamie and Amber however and those of you who know me know that I've never really needed a whole huge clique to get on. So I suppose I'm doing well enough if a bit lonely. And poor. And being poor sucks. I don't actually feel like updating this now, but I wanted to remind you all that I still exsist if only in part. I'm here, I'm reading your journals. I'm planning a new layout which will be hosted on a new server as filehut blows weevil-chunks. See that Doctor Who reference? Yay sci fi! It's all that keeps me sane anymore. Leah's had me watching Torchwood and I've gravitated back (and by back I mean the last time I watched it was with my dad when I was like . . . 16 maybe?) into the realm of Doctor Who. And you know Buffy. Never thought I'd be going back to that. Shows what I know. snicker

*insert wordless screams here* FRIDAY Oct 6th, 2006 at 5:28PM mood | bitchy Someone needs to tell my neighbor that a motorcycle is not an appropriate toy for their ten year old. They should also mention to the ten year old that repeatedly revving the engine of said motorcycle while the neighbors who have to work early mornings are trying to SLEEP is not going to endear them to us much. This kid has been doing nothing but revving his engine and popping wheelies in the yard for two hours. TWO HOURS! I HAVE BEEN UP SINCE TWO AM KID STOP IT BEFORE I GO AND SLASH YOUR TIRES! For those of you who haven't been informed I ran my phone through the washer. Yes, I'm brilliant like that. I won't have a phone until the 16th, which means I am leaving the 17th now. So that is like that and in the meantime I am trying not to kill my neighbors or my coworkers. Every last one of them.
