Why does everyone here hate music? I thought the singing was fun, until a seventh-year threw something at me that turned my hair green. All anyone ever does around here is complain. Can't we find something nice to talk about?

Quidditch is nice. Practice is a lot harder than I remember it, but it's still fun. I think we have a way better shot this year.

Summer's getting boring. Is it time to go back to school yet? 5th year's supposed to get really busy, I bet there's all sorts of things to do!

My parents think we're all gonna be Death Eater targets because there's a bunch of Aurors in the family, so I can't go anywhere. Like I'm a kid or something. So I've barely left except for that dumb picnic, and the school supply hunt.

And those don't even count. If I'm going all the way to London, it should be an adventure! Not picnics and books. We could do that any time. It was nice to see my brothers, though, even if Ce wouldn't let me talk to his girlfriend. He thinks I would say something embarrassing. Like how he got sick in the kitchen sink the morning of his Auror exam.
