Thank you very much for the thoughtful link and kind words. I subscribe to Matthew Crawford's Substack and eagerly await Part 2 of his series on remote viewing. Like many other categories of paranormal phenomena, remote viewing has its detractors. I agree with Matthew that it has been co-opted by unsavories. What I find most interesting is the connection to "immanentizing the eschaton," or hastening the final judgment.
I recently read that the highly symbolic Red Heifer will soon be sacrificed on the Mt of Olives, to hasten along the eschaton. Christianity and Islam have their enthusiasts as well. I wrote about the topic here:
