Umpire Live adds the power of the internet to the umpire's "clicker". In addition to balls, strikes and outs, Umpire Live keeps the game score, provides a game clock, tracks inning runs and shows which team is batting. Through the live score feature, the umpire can choose to broadcast count changes, score changes or report only the game results. Fields equipped with web page display equipment can then display the game status to the audience, or the audience can follow along via their own web devices.

Walks now update runners and runs automatically. 2.5 08/29/2016 Added remote launch capabilities from Bracket Ace. Umpire Live can be used in conjunction with Bracket Ace to update tournament brackets automatically. 2.4 01/20/2016 Essential updates for IOS 9. 2.3 09/27/2015 Essential UI updates for IOS 7. 2.2 09/18/2013 Version 2.1 lets the umpire position base runners if desired, and adds more graphics. Ipad screens have been added for spectators. Spectators can now see the game clock and runners on the base paths. 2.1 06/30/2013 Greatly simplified the LiveScore feature so that the umpire does not have to do anything to broadcast the game data. Also added the ability for spectators to view scores from within the app. Up to five games can be monitored simultaneously. Spectators are presented with a list of games based on their current location, so please allow the app to use location information. Also making the app free.
