Judging Criteria
-
Cool Factor
This category is for projects that dazzle! One of the more important things for a piece of software is making people want to use it. Projects that perform well in this category will quickly interest and continue to be appealing as one reads more. -
Prompt
How well does it implement a solution to the prompt? It should be directly relevant to the prompt and be an effective application. You should score this project according to accuracy to the prompt and how well it solves a directly related problem. -
Creativity
We want to foster innovation at Microhack. More points will be awarded in this category for projects that are an original solution. Projects that are awarded fewer points will be similar to applications that are already widely used. -
Technical Implementation
How well did the team perform to the best of their individual abilities? Hackers are encouraged to discuss their challenges and solutions in their submission. Good submissions will demonstrate persistence and problem solving.
