AI is transforming how we ask questions, conduct research, and make meaning from information. This session explores how AI tools can both support and disrupt the iterative, exploratory nature of research. Participants will consider how generative AI can help identify gaps, refine questions, and synthesize sources - while also examining its limitations, biases, and ethical challenges. The session will highlight strategies for helping students view research not as a one-step process but as an ongoing dialogue that balances curiosity, critical thinking, and responsible tool use. Faculty will leave with ideas for designing assignments that emphasize inquiry, reflection, and discernment in an AI-augmented research environment.
The Women's History Collection showcases a wealth of resources that studies and honors voices, achievements, and significant contributions of women throughout history. This growing collection serves as a powerful tool for education, preserving their enduring achievements and contributions across various fields that have shaped society today.
