The Texas State Wireless Association (TXWA) and the Arkansas Oklahoma Wireless Association (AOWA) are thrilled to announce their merger. Uniting the telecommunications families of Texas, Arkansas, & Oklahoma under a single, powerful banner. This strategic alliance marks a significant milestone in fostering collaboration, innovation, and growth across the wireless industry in these three dynamic states.
This year, we continued to partner with organizations and causes that align with our associations. We worked hard to give back to both the Texas and wireless community, based on member feedback. Overall, Philanthropy had a very successful year, and we are excited about our plans for the coming year! In 2024 TXWA:
• Gifted the Tower Family Foundation with a sponsorship of $50,000
• Awarded $30,000 in scholarships to families of TXWA members attending Texas schools
• Donated $2,500 to fulfill Texas school teacher supply wish lists and promoted their wish lists to our membership for additional support
• Beautified Bob Eden Park near Bear Creek through a clean up event with Keep Texas Beautiful
• Donated to Telecommunications Against Trafficking and Exploitation (TATE) and other nonprofits as well
The Texas Oklahoma Arkansas Wireless Association is a 501 (c) (6) that was formed from the joining for the Texas State Wireless Association and the Arkansas Oklahoma Wireless Association in 2025. We serve as an official forum for the cultivation of relationships and exchange of ideas between wireless telecommunications professionals in the area and provide a platform for a unified voice among the wireless industry.
