Love Paper is a global consumer-focused campaign launched in 2012 to improve perceptions and raise awareness of the sustainability and attractiveness of print, paper and paper-based packaging.
Run by not-for-profit organisation, Two Sides, the campaign seeks to tell consumers across the world all the positive stories about paper, print and paper-based packaging from its environmental credentials to its ability to improve learning, enhance creativity and better mental wellbeing.
Even in today’s digital world, paper remains unique in its ability to touch our lives. Paper is renewable, recyclable and the natural support of new ideas and creativity.
Research carried out by Two Sides in 2023 revealed some common misconceptions held by consumers;
- 60% believe European forests are shrinking – in fact, they’ve been growing in size by 1,500 football pitches every day.
- Only 18% believe the European paper recycling rate is above 60% – it’s actually 79% (The highest in the world!)
In 2019, the campaign was relaunched with its own identity, new adverts, a new website and new possibilities for companies to support. The Love paper logo is now a registered trademark that reaches over 20 million consumers every month through advertisement in national and regional newspapers and magazines.
There are a number of ways that you can support the Love Paper campaign, including;

2. Publishing the Love Paper adverts in your newspaper and magazine titles.
