    Absolutely delighted to learn of the additional £200m+ commitment from the UK for PEACE PLUS (2021-2027). It will transform the lives of citizens across NI & the border counties of Ireland. The programme is at an advanced stage of preparation. Public consultation to start in 2021

    Today marks 11 years of the #EUFunded #PEACE Bridge! This project is truly iconic & is a symbol of peace & reconciliation, in Derry-Londonderry 🎉🇪🇺 It is one many #PEACE Programme funded projects which create safe 'shared spaces' for all communities to enjoy.

    We have firm assurances from the UK & Irish Governments and the EU that the new PEACE PLUS Programme will go ahead post-2020. We have already started the planning process with government departments in NI and Ireland & other key stakeholders. seupb.eu/news/news-list…

    Delighted to hear of UK Govt.’s financial commitment to PEACE PLUS. Extensive work already completed on the content of the new cross-border programme, which is supported by the EU, Govt. of Ireland and NI Executive. PEACE PLUS will leave a lasting legacy for many years to come.

    The SEUPB would like to express its condolences on the passing of John Hume, who along with Jim Nicholson and the late Dr Ian Paisley, were instrumental in bringing the EU’s PEACE Programme to the region 20 yrs ago. A Programme which has made such a difference to so many people.
