Stories like this are infuriating. It’s not a moral failing to get Covid. Viruses find a way. Here’s a better angle: Vaccines prevent death and serious illness. Get the jab and live your life.

I was cracking up because some politician the other day (maybe Bernie? I forget...) was saying "you're all applauding the federal worker layoff, but just you wait until it starts happening in the private sector!" Can you imagine?? Like they have no idea that people get laid off

And when the small businesses start closing because they can’t afford to pay employees, those people will be making $0 an hour.

I saw Phantom w/ my son in Nov. We were told on the line outside to put our masks on (why???), and then watched as the "mask police" went around reprimanding families who pulled down their masks for a quick photo before the show. I won't see another show until this shit ends.

Meanwhile, a few blocks away at MSG, I can cheer on the NY Rangers with 20,000 unmasked fans. Where is the logic?

That's a good thing, no? Admitting you won't get everything right the first time, but will be accountable and course correct as needed. I know this is a foreign concept in politics.

Also, I notice you don't wear a mask at the podium. Is that because it's hard to communicate with one on? Yet we expect our children, teachers and speech therapists to be able to do it.

Stop lying! No one is being penalized for wearing masks. People simply want the freedom to decide what's best for their children. We spent TWO YEARS forcing masks on the lowest risk population (to appease teacher's unions), and they are suffering.

I love the 2 kids who take them off right after. That was probably the first adult in a position of authority to give them permission. Good for them!

Mask for the rest of your life. Just don’t expect the rest of us to do it.

No. No, it doesn't. Free speech means exactly the same thing today as it meant then. Please stop with this nonsense. You don't like Elon Musk? Fine. But the hill to die on can't be "eh, who needs free speech anyway?" FFS.

No, it’s the opposite. New Yorkers have the right to defend themselves and protect others from being killed and not go to jail for it. I do agree that our mental health services and Neely’s own family failed him though.

I guess you missed Musk powering the entire area’s communications for free with Starlink and loading up Cyber Trucks with supplies to bring to the people? You are such a useless person.
