In 2026, Veth Propulsion celebrates 75 years of maritime entrepreneurship, craftsmanship and innovation.
For three quarters of a century, we have grown alongside the maritime industry, evolving from a small, hands-on technical company into an internationally respected developer of advanced propulsion and control systems. What has never changed is our commitment to precision, reliability and forward-thinking engineering. Our strength lies in combining deep technical expertise with the courage to innovate. From inland shipping to offshore, dredging, ferries and super yachts, we design and build solutions that meet the highest standards of performance, sustainability and durability.
Today, as Veth Propulsion by Twin Disc, we unite our heritage with global strength. Backed by international reach and driven by the same entrepreneurial spirit that shaped our beginnings, we continue to push boundaries in propulsion technology.

Veth Propulsion engineers and manufactures a wide range of propulsion solutions, including azimuth thrusters, bow thrusters and advanced control systems. All products are developed by our in-house engineering team and produced in our own facilities, ensuring consistent quality and reliability.
We operate on a project basis, working closely with our customers to determine which solutions best fit their specific vessel and operational requirements. By combining tailored engineering with decades of experience, we deliver propulsion systems that are efficient, dependable and built for long-term performance.
