Twicca

Twicca is a Twitter client for Android that includes all of the benefits one would expect of an app with its description. What sets this program apart? It's easy to use and very light weight (only half that of the official Twitter client).

That being said, Twicca also allows the user to receive notifications and announcements on their device, upload photos and videos through 'via.me', automatically shorten URLs, save searches, access tweet history, as well as several other functions.

As is usually the case with Twitter apps for Android, Twicca allows the user to place a widget on the desktop of their device, giving them access to updates of specific tweets in real time. Careful however, as this feature uses up much more battery life.

As its slogan suggests, Twicca is most certainly 'another Twitter client for Android', but it is one which is lightweight, takes up very little space, and offers a host of benefits which are desirable in an app of its kind.
