INACTIVITY CUTS

  • Just wanted to let you know that I've performed the inactivity cuts for the community. If your name is not on THIS LIST, you're no longer a member. Feel free to reapply at any time if you change your mind!

  • Hello, everyone! We're just a few hours away from our October 1st phase start! I'm happy to say that everyone that has applied thus far has been sorted onto a team and I am excited to get rolling. I would appreciate if you could take a quick look at the community points spreadsheet linked below to make sure you're a) listed as a member, and b) listed under the correct team heading.

  • If there are any mistakes with the sheet or you have yet to receive an invite to tvholics or your team community, please let me know I'll jump on it ASAP. Thank you!

  • Hello everyone! Welcome to tvholics! I need to start by saying HOLY CRAP! My face looks exactly like the Doctor's right now! I am completely overwhelmed and flattered by the positive response we've received! (No pressure, right? ;]). In answer to the number of applications posted, I've decided to start sorting teams earlier than I originally anticipated. As such...

  • Everyone that has applied to this point has been sorted! You should have received invites to both your team community and tvholics proper. If you haven't received your invites, please let me know and I will surely resend them.

  • Your team mods are as follows; kait_18 and rainbowxrose for SLAP KISS, signe_chan and kierwynn for CATCHPHRASE and watchpoint and recycledinspace for FOURTH WALL

  • I should also point out our social community, tv_couchpotato! There's nothing there yet, but it'll be your go-to place for interacting with those that are not on your team. Join if you feel so inclined. I'll have to approve your membership, but I'm almost always around, so you'll have access straight away. :)

  • Make yourself comfortable in the community! We have a week until we premiere! As always, if you have any questions or suggestions feel free to drop them HERE or send me a PM; I won't bite, I promise. :D

  • Lastly, if you'd like to earn +5 points for a pimp, report your links HERE. I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all! It's party time!

    TVHOLICS. FIRST ROUND BEGINNING SOON.  

    tvholics is a brand new land comm based in TV fandom; any television show past or present is welcome! Apply HERE for one of the 3 teams; Slap Kiss (tv_slapkiss), Catchphrase (tv_catchphrase), or Fourth Wall (tv_fourthwall).

    Get sorted by September 30th! Our first phase begins October 1st!

    GENERAL RULES

    1. As per Live Journal policy, you must be at least 13 years of age to participate in tvholics.

    2. Respect is a mutual thing! Respect your team mates, as well as all other teams. Bashing and flaming will not be tolerated. It is, all in good fun after all!

    3. tvholics is a closed community that may only be posted in by mods. Any promotions, discussion and social activities are housed in the social community, tv_couchpotato. Feel free to post anything you'd like there, or in your team community.

    4. You must participate in at least 1 challenge every 2 weeks. tvholics has a variety of challenges in hopes that at least one will interest everyone. We are not asking you to participate in everything, nor do we want to pressure you into doing so, but we do ask that you participate in something.

    5. Each challenge post contains guidelines for each challenge. It is important to make sure that you follow any specific instructions in those posts. Not following these guidelines will result in your points not counting for that challenge.

    6. We are a spoiler-free zone. If you would like to discuss spoilers or use spoilers in your entries, please make sure they are warned accordingly.

    TVHOLICS - APPLICATION POST.

    1. Please ensure that you will be able to enter at least one challenge every two weeks. You do not have to participate in everything, but please participate in something! If you do not participate, you will be removed from the community. :)
    2. Please rank your choice of team [SARCASM MODE or SERIOUS BUSINESS] in your application. If you have no preference, you may leave this section blank.
    3. Please do not join the community before applying. When you are assigned to a team, a mod will invite you to tvholics and your team community.

    Note: Teams must remain equal (or very close to equal) to have a fair chance of earning points. You may not always be assigned to your first choice team, but remember, it's not the name that counts!
