An usûls is a rhythmic pattern consisting of specific time intervals and accents. The term usûl, which includes both the concepts of meter (measure and tempo) and rhythm, grew and developed inherently together with. Ottoman-Turkish music and poetic meters. Thus they are a concept that can be integrated with lyrics. Turkish music boasts a rich assortment of usûls, totaling a number several times greater than that of similar elements western music.
In our application 75 different usuls together with their velvele (velvele of an usul is formed by increasing the number of beats of each main beat without changing the meter of the usul) forms are available for two different measure units (1/8 & 1/4).
