cTrix An LP with a vibe. Solid early 2000's sounding guitar / vocal work with tight drums and super clever use of the NES. Composition has some very distinct twists and turns which only Tuberz could pull off! One for the car, preferably with the windows rolled down! Favorite track: I'm Tired.

I'm Tired 03:35
I got three hours of sleep last night, I guess I shouldn't the television up that late. And now I live my nine to five. We had a meeting bout more meetings this just couldn't wait. It could've been an email, so what do you need from me? I know your dreams have passed you by but that's not me. Cause when I get home from work, I want to sleep in my bed. I said I'd write a new song, but there's tomorrow instead. You know I'm tired and confused, and haven't you heard the news. I said I'd write one tomorrow as well. You tried to call me on a Saturday, I guess I shouldn't answer emails on the weekend. Shouldn't have to work on days that I'm not paid. Don't wanna hear it, nine to five remember this can wait. It could've been an email, about what you need from me? Just send it on if you need it back urgently. Cause when I get home from work, I want to sleep in my bed. I said I'd write a new song, but there's tomorrow instead. You know I'm tired and confused, and haven't you heard the news. I said I'd write one tomorrow as well. Nine to five. Day by day. I don't know, what to say. Not just an employee. Got no time, left for me. Just can't wait for payday. Work to lives, what they say. I don't get this mindset, live to work, don't rest yet. Cause when I get home from work, I want to sleep in my bed. I said I'd write a new song, but there's tomorrow instead. You know I'm tired and confused, and haven't you heard the news. I said I'd write one tomorrow. When I get home from work, I want to sleep in my bed. I said I'd write a new song, but there's tomorrow instead. You know I'm tired and confused, and haven't you heard the news. I said I'd write one tomorrow as well.

Fight Song 03:25
I'm running late for my dental examination. I'm going 125. But then you came out of nowhere no expectation. The lights are blinking and my life is running before my eyes. The deposit on my appointment, the disappointment is keeping me here. The sign says 'keep clear'. I'm gonna fight a train. I'm gonna fight a train. I'm gonna fight a train. No matter what you say. I'm gonna fight a train. You said that I'm insane. I'm gonna fight a train anyway. I'm gonna fight a train. I'm gonna fight a train. I'm gonna fight a train. No matter what you say. I'm gonna fight a train. You said that I'm insane. I'm gonna fight a train anyway. I hope I catch a break, cause I am at breaking point, cause this just isn't the point. But all is not quite fine, off the train comes an ursine. He don't have a ticket, it's a miracle he don't have a fine. Where's the ranger, cause I'm in danger. It's so strange that it's keeping me here. I can't believe I gotta fight a fucking bear. I'm gonna fight a bear. I'm gonna fight a bear. I'm gonna fight a bear. I don't really care. I'm gonna fight a bear, and even though I'm scared, I'm gonna fight a bear anyway. I'm gonna fight a bear. I'm gonna fight a bear. I'm gonna fight a bear. I don't really care. I'm gonna fight a bear, and even though I'm scared, I'm gonna fight a bear anyway. It's nonrefundable, guess it's not that fun at all, it's been a bear and train brawl. But in the corner of my eye I see a bad guy. His name is Steve. You believe, but he's also my dentist. If he's late and I play it straight then I speculate if I keep him here we can reschedule to later in the year. I'm gonna fight Steve. I'm gonna fight Steve. I'm gonna fight Steve. So that he doesn't leave. I'm gonna fight Steve, but please don't misperceive, I was gonna fight Steve anyway. I'm gonna fight Steve. I'm gonna fight Steve. I'm gonna fight Steve. So that he doesn't leave. I'm gonna fight Steve, but please don't misperceive, I was gonna fight Steve anyway. Gonna fight him no matter what you say, My dentist always makes me overpay.

Piggy 04:08
Who do you think you are? You're trying to start a scene. Lights. Camera. Action. Who do you think I am? Some kid with a head full of dreams? Well here's a reaction. You know it's strange providing, you're the one they're sidelining. It's like you think the world gives a shit 'bout who is cool. It's such a shame that you all peaked back in high school. Piggy wanna fly he just don't quit. Piggy just wanna have a go at it. Started with a little. Now we got a lot. Piggy in the middle and the Piggy don't stop. Piggy wanna fly he just don't quit. Piggy just wanna have a go at it. Started at the bottom. Now we're at the top, but the piggy's not forgotten and the Piggy don't stop. I guess I find it funny when you say that we were friends. Is that what it looked like? That is just embarrassing. Least you could do is pretend, you don't have the foresight. You know it's strange providing, you're the one compromising. It's like you pick a fight like a dog without a bone. You're talking shit like how was I supposed to know. You probably think that this song's about you, but that's not quite true. It's also 'bout me. I think you'll agree that I was there too. And I haven't changed, but neither have you. We're both still deranged. I guess we'll make do. But I find it strange that you haven't seemed to change your point of view. So get off your high horse cause you don't know what I'm about. But you're happy to tell me that you seem to know what I'm all about.

Aftershock 03:39
It's been so long, Neither of us are feeling moderately lucky, A mutual exchange, It's like we just keep holding on for the last train home, We stayed out too late again, My mind is buzzing, and my head is aching, Well you held my hand, And I held your hair. [CHORUS] When we get back home we go running into our rooms, We shut the door, and we sing the night away, to ourselves, we say it's all okay. And when we're back home with our backs up against the door, We keep on hoping that we won't have to talk, it's another aftershock. It's the same old song, Except the lyrics are dancing around in new directions, I counted back from ten, Except I realized it wasn't long since we late ate, At the restaurant by the pier, No conversation, and I keep thinkin, How I held you back, And you held me dear. [CHORUS] When we get back home we go running into our rooms, We shut the door, and we sing the night away, to ourselves, we say it's all okay. And when we're back home with our backs up against the door, We keep on hoping that we won't have to talk, it's another aftershock. An empty glass, I just keep pouring from this flask, it's like I ask a million questions, just not the ones that I should ask. Taking turns, all these lessons that I've learned, keep on Giving second chances, and we keep on getting burned. [CHORUS] When we get back home we go running into our rooms, We shut the door, and we sing the night away, to ourselves, we say it's all okay. And when we're back home with our backs up against the door, We keep on hoping that we won't have to talk, it's another aftershock.*

If you’ve got a master plan then go for your life But all that trouble and strife Might not really get you that much further If you’ve got a good idea then just reach for the stars But please don’t reach too far Because someone has to serve me burgers Have you considered a career in fast food I know the suggestion might seem quite rude You could do anything, I'm sure you know you could, You could do anything, I'm sure, but please don't. Go for your dreams Reach for the sky Except for you 'Cause you're the guy I want to do all of the things that I don't really want to do It might seem strange Like I don't care But that's not true I want you there Behind the grill at least until we've all reached all our dreams Thanks bud If you think you've got a shot at being a star, Or buying expensive cars, let me tell You that it won't make you happy. Let me give you some advice you'll appreciate, yeah kid you're Gonna be great, just not as great as me, eventually You'll get a raise you'll be a manager yet. Don't get ahead of yourself, egos in check. You could do anything, so do a little less. You could do anything, I'm sure. So please don't. Go for your dreams Reach for the sky Except for you 'Cause you're the guy I want to do all of the things that I don't really want to do It might seem strange Like I don't care But that's not true I want you there Behind the grill at least until we've all reached all our dreams Thanks bud I’ll just be honest I think you’re nice But don’t quit your day job Leave those dreams on ice Go for your dreams Reach for the sky Except for you 'Cause you're the guy I want to do all of the things that I don't really want to do It might seem strange Like I don't care But that's not true I want you there Behind the grill at least until we've all reached all our dreams Thanks bud Go for your dreams you selfish prick, You're good at everything you pick. But what about us, who never fuss, and maybe Want it more. It might seem strange, like I'm not cool, But back when I was in high school, I was the best, and all the rest, voted for me to be--- The most likely--- One to succeed---

Garbage Man 03:33
Been years since we met, I bet you could count disagreements we've had on a single hand. I guess that you've changed. Seems that your silhouette has grown in size. You know that implies you're better than me, and better than he. That's you used to be. A reality check is just what you need. I hope you take heed. I could tell you things that you want to hear, like everybody wants to be like you. I could talk shit as I pull back the curtain. I'm an asshole. Just not that kind of asshole. Believe me. It's better to hear it. If I did not care I would not say a thing. I guess I'm not supportive. I guess that I'm garbage, but can the garbage man? Yes, the garbage man can. I listened to you go on your tirade. You made it seem like the whole world was wrong. I guess nothings changed. Seems that your solution is to complain away each and every day, that you're worse off than he. I hope you know I tell you things cause I think you deserve to know. I hope you know you're just a dick but I'm still here to tell you so. Yes, the garbage man can. Yes, the garbage man can.

Rat 04:35

about

Tuberz McGee and the Sudden Realisation That His Life is an Endless 9-5 Grind is a tale of overwork. It's a tale of fighting the system. It's a tale about rats and shirts with pants on them (again).

None of these songs are very serious, but they are fun, and maybe we could all do with a very unserious but very fun adventure right about now.
