[Taiga woke up with a bad, bad feeling, an all too familiar lurch in her stomach. It only worsened in finding Nanoha droned. Not droned and murderous, just flat out droned.
That wasn't good.
What also wasn't good was the fear that something similar would happen to her. She didn't want to hurt anyone, not even anyone she hated in Mayfield. Puff her chest all she liked, Taiga would never be able to try and kill a human. And so, it was mostly paranoia that led her into the kitchen, hands shaking with enough force that she spilt half the box of her cereal over the counter, and the milk had a similar fate. The torture continued as she forced herself to eat as much of the breakfast as possible.
Those weren't tears, she insisted to herself. She had to be safe! Perfectly safe, nothing went wrong, so why the panic?
It isn't until she stands up to put the bowl in the sink that the ~*~Grade A Poison™~*~ kicks in. Taiga lurches forward and, barely catching herself on the countertop before complete hitting the ground, leaving the bowl to shatter at her feet. Quite frankly, the bowl is the least of her worries in comparison to the jolt--no, stab? Fuck it, the most excrutiating pain Taiga's ever felt in her gut. A hissed breath and Taiga tries, oh how she tries to make it to the couch before collapsing.
...Collapsing against the side of the couch counts as making it, right? And she totally planned on knocking over the phone so it was right by her face, didn't she? Broadcasting her inevitable death sounds so appealing, with her curled up gripping her stomach with one hand and barely keeping a hold on the phone with her other.]
G-god damnit... I... [A groan.] S-sorry... I-I didn't want--[To worry everyone. But I fucked up.] D-don't... don't come over.
(ooc: Her beloved not!daddy will at least be able to lessen some of her pain, but Taiga's doomed to die. :T)

[So, Ryuuji is back. Again. Housemates may notice that she's been splitting her time between houses more and eating far less food, but at least she isn't as ornery as usual. And in fact she's been making an effort at not making the house a mess; stacking her dishes instead of leaving them scattered on the table, putting her make up back in a neat pile in the bathroom--things that y'know, you'd expect someone to do to begin with. It was strange, and done only to take her mind off of how weird Ryuuji's been acting lately.
At current? She's picking up the dirty clothes in her room and actually putting them in a laundry basket for once, if anyone cares to bother her.]

[Later, she places a phone call! It's totally not a thinly veiled threat!]
Oi. If you guys see a mongrel wandering around, leave him be. He looks ugly and menacing but he'll piss his pants if you so much as look at him funny--So if I heard that someone's messed with him it'll be your head.

[And finally? Taiga's grabbed hold of Ryuuji despite his (rather justified) fear of Mayfield and pulled him to the grocery store. She was hungry, damnit, and she couldn't just let him get away with not making her food! ...It may also be an attempt at making him act like she was used to. He kept alluding to not liking Minori anymore, and all Taiga could think was that he got into another argument with her. Without her in Mayfield though, there was nothing she could do but try to pretend nothing happened.]
C'mon, you're too slow! I'll just pretend I'm buying it, so give me your money!
A-ah, you'll buy all sorts of junk food... [No matter, Taiga wrestles the wallet out of his hands before he can even think to hold it out of her reach.]
I'm not going to, shut up! We're having beef tonight, got it? Don't skimp either, I don't want anything cheap! [And Ryuuji is putting back the third package of cookies Taiga tried to put in the cart, sighing.]
Fine, fine...
(OOC: Let me know which situation you're going with in the subject line! If you wish to run into Taiga and Ryuuji in the grocery store, tagging order will be You -> Taiga-> Ryuuji, rinse and repeat!)

[Taiga had been preparing for a completely boring, mildly depressing, and forgettable Valentine's Day. And the last thing Taiga wanted to remember upon opening her mail was...
Erika.
Not just Erika, but... Erika. Originally she went for detective services, to see what Kitamura was up to, but her reasons for going became more and more bizarre as time went on; an excuse to hear her voice again, to admire her hair or learn more of what a detective did. After all, Erika was a Great Detective (it said so on the placard) and Taiga knew there wasn't anyone else who could compare...
Taiga's mortified. By pure chance she managed to filter the phone call to solely Erika.]
D-d-do you remember a-a-anything new?! A-a-anything str-st-strange?
Erika.

OI! ARE YOU BASTARDS LISTENING TO THIS?!
[... Yeah. Sorry about those eardrums. Taiga certainly isn't sorry though; after finding out that someone killed Ryuuji, she's not too keen on worrying about what other people think.]
I don't care who you are or what you think you're doing, if you dare lay a hand on Ryuuji again I'll snap your fingers off one by one and shove them down your goddamn throat so you choke and die!
[Her voice holds a slight uneasiness as she shouts, but with each raise in volume she forces it back and laces her words with cold blooded rage instead. Also evident is a hoarseness--to be expected after spending a good hour sobbing over the news. It wasn't fair. She knew more than anyone that Ryuuji wouldn't do a damned thing to deserve being killed, and that he had apologised for it was horrendous. Like hell she was going to put up with that.]

[....Taiga really likes meat.
Therefore, Taiga is now a little babby and incredibly confused. This didn't even look like Japan, and if she were lost... H-how would she get back? Her parents were probably worried and what if her dad was on a business trip? Then her mom would be all alone to worry and it was Taiga's fault, wasn't it!
You can find Taiga in a number of places today:

A. Wandering the streets and looking quite chilled; she had never seen so much snow before, and is far from dressed for the weather. Every so often she sniffles and rubs at her eyes, but she avoids talking to anyone.

B. In the grocery store trying to find something to eat. This... isn't easy, since she doesn't have money on her. But at least she's warm, right?! It looks like she's trying to decide between cookies and pudding.

C. Sleeping. In your house. How did she get in? Who knows, but it's pretty evident that she cried herself to sleep. She looks pretty damn cute, and boy is she tiny.]

[Well. Taiga had been anxiously waiting for Christmas Day to arrive, though she wasn't sure if it was in anticipation or fear. She spent her night tossing and turning, the tiger stuffed animal Kei gave her ending up at the foot of her bed amid the top layer of blankets. When the sun peeked through her curtains she grumbled before realising it was Christmas goddamnit and maybe Santa would've given her a good gift!
Or not. She lazily nudged at the tiger stuffed animal; damn thing was in her way and why wasn't it moving goddamn it. Why did Kei have to get her something so--wait.
Ryuuji and Misaka, strangled with holly. In her bed.
She screams. Ear piercing, shrill, pure terror. It's not long before that scream breaks off into sobbing, ugly hacking sobbing and pajamas wet with tears and goodness knows what else. If Balthier tries to get in he'll find the door impossible to break down. Taiga stumbles off the bed, dragging the blankets and touching, oh god touching Misaka's arm it's a corpse and it's cold.
Taiga's not even sure why she picks up the phone, but her friends were dead in her room and strangled and they were dead and she had never imagined Mayfield would ruin Christmas that much and before she knows it she's got the receiver up to her ear and just--sobbing.
She does nothing but sob.]
[Also Kei and Erika? It's safe to assume there's no candlelit dinner. Being locked in a room with corpses makes that a bit difficult.]

Stuffed animals aren't that big. She props herself up to find--

[Angel Taiga's been quite the busy bee lately, preparing for Christmas and all. And she's actually... taking some responsibilities! At work she tries her hardest, and while she seems more comfortable in her skates, she still stumbles, and usually spends her time at home icing an ankle or her forehead. But... that's okay, right? The money's going towards gifts! She's also been skipping class every so often to head over to the elementary school and ask what the kids want from Santa, jotting down addresses and everything to mail to the North Pole! Not!daddy will probably notice an increasing pile of presents under the tree Mayfield provided them with, addressed to various people and mostly from "Santa Claus".
And where did she get that Santa Hat from? Oh, who knows, but she's wearing it everywhere. Even now, as she's on the phone!]
Is everyone being good for Santa? I know I am, so I hope you are too~ Make sure you go out in the snow and play, I've never seen so much snow before. Aaah, I can't wait until Christmas really comes!
[Filtered away from Kei and Erika, ohoho! Angel Taiga must be secretive, duuuh.]
Also, who here knows Kei Kurono and Erika Furudo? I'm trying to give them the best Christmas, but they won't answer my questions. I'll... I'll make sure your help is rewarded! [...] A, and don't get the wrong idea about Kei! He's done a lot for me, so I'm just paying him back. Nothing else.
