Well this is going to have to evolve over time but here is the quick run down on who I am.

Lets start actually with I'm living in Yokosuka, Japan.

As a career I'm a graphic/web designer and professional photographer that pays for the fun loving, social extrovert I am. I'm pretty eccentric but at the same time can be extremely low key. I enjoy a good laugh, good food and the company of friends. I'm quite adventurous and love to see shows, travel, and explore everything around me. I try to better everything I do and make the world I live in a more beautiful and acceptable place. I always try to be there for my friends whether it's an ear, a smile, or a shoulder. And at the same time I party in life like a rockstar cause life is too short to be left with "I wish I would have..."

I can be found also on:

Facebook | Twitter | Flickr | Tumblr | Instagram | Snapchat

And here is a list of entries of mine from the past I've particularly liked or give you a better sense of me. Cheers!

To the woman I still meet in my dreams; never really got to say goodbye but I guess that doesn't matter now anyway catch my tears as they hit my sheets tonight and if I tell myself this is just goodnight it's not goodbye now is it? Even though I won't meet you in hidden places with lips pressed together and hearts beating faster than we can tell them slow down I swear to god I'll spend forever trying to find you. So right now instead of choking on the "never again's" and "what if's" just too sad to admit that we might never get lost in a sea of blankets too red hot to admit we were just tangled in a sea of lies and insecurity. Where did we go wrong and when did we both let go? Just goodnight, not goodbye, and then morning comes easier and the sun sets softer knowing we might not make it forever but at least it seemed like forever when we lived it sharing one heart. Just goodnight, not goodbye.

When you give someone a book or some thing you consider having value or is well like by yourself, sign it or find a way to personalize it. It's one thing to recieve a recommended book from someone and it's entirely different to recieve one that has been signed and personalized. And books should always be given not borrowed.

So lets see, after my battle royale with Comcast I believe I'll have internet service either today or tomorrow back at home. Thank goodness cause I can't wait to get back online with the Xbox and Eve-Online.

I ordered a Makita Compound Miter saw with a laser line and light and ended up getting a Skil power wrech with sockets. Needless to say I knew something was wrong when I saw the box and realized it was 6 times too small to be a compound miter saw. But that should be corrected now and hopefully I'll be able to build the bar and chinchilla stuff.

I did get to attend Edward Tufte training yesterday and now my brain has so much information to ponder. I got a full set of his book also for reading. Did you know that the human eye processes about a 10 megapixel image a second of information? Makes looking at 2 color power point presentations with a pie chart and two data points seem pretty elementry.

I really am a bit bummed cause I really haven't had the chance to really shoot. And I know alot of that is my fault but it seems like there is a million other things going on that prevent me from getting the camera out and taking pictures. I've never been a take pictures of random objects type person and even though while on vacations I take pictures of places/things, I primarily like to shoot people.

Last shoot I did for two sisters.Collapse )

In other good news I did start putting together my photo portfolio. I won't put a link yet cause I've only started to setup the structure and don't hardly have any photos loaded but hopefully once I get internet back again on thursday I can proceed to work on it.

I am going to try to hit the Atlanta Photographers Guild meeting tonight which I shamefully haven't been to in over a year.

Got to start somewhere right?

Anyone know much about them? I want to get some power tools (Drill, Circular saw, impact wrench, sander, etc.)

I was thinking about getting this Makita set. But didn't know if anyone on my friends list knew anything or would recommend something else.

So operation new house move is 50% complete. All the major items have been moved which has left me bruised like I've been playing inside a running clothes dryer. But now it's all the little things that I will probably just arm shovel into a box and worry about sorting later on left to move.

The amount of living space is crazy though. It's so nice to actually be able to not try to shove an entire house worth of stuff into one large bedroom anymore. I can actually have a bedroom that is just that and not pertending to also be an office, computer room, dressing room, living room, and dining room all at once.

And I know I owe everyone a recap of my trip to Istanbul. I started organizing and editing photos but the move sort of got in the way. I did post 50 of 3000 photos right from my camera on facebook. If we're not friends there just look for Erich Claxton.
