Phoenix canariensis, aka Canary Island date palm, palmera canaria or pineapple palm, is a species from the palm family Arecaceae, native to the Canary Islands. It is a relative of Phoenix dactylifera, the true date palm, and Phoenix roebelenii, the miniature date palm. This specimen was fruiting.
