Here is the latest chapter. We should have all of v1 by Christmas. Taiga continues to grind on Kozue, and she is now at 60%. Sora’s route edit is at 90%. Expect a final edit of Sora on the 15th of November, and Kozue will be done next year. Other work continues to be done on the drama CDs, but we ran into some unexpected snags. We will have a release of them ready soon enough. Also we are releasing a doujin soon.

Finally a little Kozue no Sora preview. Still very early stages, and this will take years. But we are working on it. Head to discord to download the patches and purchase the games.

Unfortunately Nao TLC has become the most cursed position since… Akira Translator. We yet again need someone to finish the Nao translation check. If you have JP skills please let us know! Either here in the comments or on the Discord server.

We also need artists for Kozue no Sora. Which has in fact already made some noteworthy progress. However the more help, the faster things will go. If you have art skills, let us know!

We got an editor. However Tron might not be able to continue as a TLC for Nao, so shortly after he started. A new translator is always appreciated it.

Beyond that, expect new developments in Drama CDs being released very soon. As well as a Doujin. Which is what we got the editor for!

Firstly also like to once more shout out our partner Fuwanovel, which has seen a resurgence under the new leadership! Their Discord Server as well. They’ve gotten us a translator and an editor before, and helped the German TL project, so they are valued friends!

The Kozue translator is back in action. Gave taiga a strict deadline and he hit it. He should start to do around 10% a month from here on out. Kozue now stands at 41%, but we will hold off another public HnS release until we hit a 100% milestone (in any of the routes). In other VN news, Sora’s route has hit 70% editing progress! 72% to be precise.

I gave Bakio that same deadline and he failed to meet it. I think he just needs a change of scenery, as TLC is boring and Nao is satan. So he was reassigned and a new translator took over the Nao TLC. New translator is named Tron! He is an old member of the YnS community, and actually has immigrated to Japan, yet neglected to help the translation until now. He should be a good fit. Bakio is working on a super secret project now. It’s release depends on the success of the translation. Just note that it has incest.

Also, we need an editor. Really badly. We got a backlog of side content that needs editing before we can release it. Please for the love of god volunteer if you are skilled at the englishing. I am losing my mind at the severe lack of editors.

To date, 5 Drama CDs have been translated! And the first one just got it’s TLC, meaning we just need an editor! It is not a massive job. Anyone with editing skills should apply! Once the text is edited we can finally throw the subtitles into an MP4 file, and publicly release it. Let me know here or on the discord if you are in.

Still looking for all the stuff mentioned in the previous post as well.

As for the VNs, Sora’s route continues to be steadily edited (68%), and Akira TLC has reached 33%. The other routes have stagnated, but hopefully they will be worked on soon.

LOOKING FOR LOST YnS CONTENT:

We’ve already found quite a few, but a few evade us. Here is a list:

Kozue no Sora. Unfinished episode of the anime, released as a storyboard/doujin. We posses it, but are missing 2 pages. We have an animation team working to make it a real episode. It was originally sold at Winter Comiket 2011 (C81) for ¥2,000. Second hand copies pop up frequently for sale online, which is how we got it. But all printed copies purchased this way are missing 2 pages due to a printing error.

I’m to understand they showed it to the anime’s production committee and it wasn’t approved, so they ended up going the doujin route with it at Comiket so it could at least get some form of release. Here’s the circles blog they made specifically for C81: http://to-ni-san.blogspot.com/

Chances of finding the PDF or just those two pages alone are probably pretty slim unless someone is able to reach out to the circle and they happen to still have the file. That’s right! Two routes have now received their final edits. Courtesy of Mick, who was working closely behind Prussia’s Yahiro TLC, and Spud, who edited our beloved Maid.

All in all a pretty massive update. Now time for some of the details of the rest of the project.

Sphere recently released brand new YnS audio content, which was have purchased and plan to translate. Cat1110 has picked up his work on the Drama CDs again after a few months on haitus. We got another Drama CD translator named Sage Wolf Holo who has already completed 1 of the Drama CDs. The total voiced content we have collected now surpasses Season 1 of the Anime in length, We have half jokingly named this content ‘Season 2’.

The existing work on the Drama CDs will not be publicly released yet! We are at 3 completed Drama CDs total, but we haven’t even begun to TLC or edit them. Unlike the YnS VNs, where it was fairly easy to pump out incomplete patches, someone has to manually edit lines into a video file to time with the audio! Meaning we won’t release anything until we have a final high quality product! It would be a massive waste of time to get an editor to have to completely redo his work later, if we were to release something now!

The Anthology Manga has reached Chapter 13 of it’s translation. We still have to edit and typeset everything starting from Chapter 9. Editing is easy, but Typesetting takes time. Kirit0 (Our typesetter) spent some time refining previous chapters, and basically removing all the Japanese Onomatopoeias. Which was a very tedious task to make the whole thing ever so slightly more professional. We are perfectionists here at TRJR, so it was worth it. He can now begin work on Chapter 9, and you can expect regular releases again starting May 15th.

Kozue no Sora is actively being translated. Our native Japanese speaker is turning the handwritten Japanese into legible digital text, and Prussia has taken on the task of translating this text. We’ve had two animators apply to help… well animate it. We could use more! Anyone with animation skills please apply!

Lynx trudges along with editing Sora’s route, and has breezed past the 50% mark. She should be done in a few months.

Taiga stagnated on Kozue a few months ago due to being busy with school stuff. Taiga has promised to pick up again on Kozue on May 26th, and finish her fast.

Bakio is slowly working on Nao TLC, but is hoping to speed up soon. If you are wondering why Nao also has a 27% edit, that is because Mick is working right behind Bakio. I’ve asked Mick to stop until Bakio has a good chunk of new work done.

Finally Akira TLC. Lishin is continuing slowly with her. Progress is being made.

I can’t get you precise percentages for everything because the bot is down (more specifically the host is down. But what’s important, is that Yahiro’s route has reached 100% TLC. Yesterday Prussia checked the translation of the last handful of Yahiro lines. She is already being actively edited by Okarin, who should finish in a matter of weeks at his current pace.

Prussia is moving on to Kozue no Sora. Don’t expect any publicly released progress on Kozue no Sora. Only once we have the whole thing finished and animated will anything be released. But I will inform you all of major milestones.

Furthermore, Sora’s route is roughly at 50% editing right now. The best girl will be getting her final form soon! Motoka had almost finished editing as well, but her editor is taking a vacation and won’t be back for a few weeks. So she’ll just have to wait a little longer.

There will be a slight lull in Anthology Manga uploads. We were keeping a irregular pace before anyway, but now we’ve decided to refine our existing work. We might not upload the next chapter for a few weeks, then return to our regular schedule.

In case you forgot, Kozue no Sora is the unfinished episode of the anime we mentioned here.

The update is…. the handwriting is really hard to read. Our translators couldn’t do it.

So we gave up and it will never be translated or animated.

Just kidding! We found a native Japanese speaker (MAE) to take the handwriting, and put it into a neat digital text file. Then we will have a translator… well translate it. Sadly MAE is too busy to translate for us, but just this has been a huge help. Once it’s translated, we have two animators on standby, and are investigating AI voices.
